Duchess Triple Sleeper Bunk Bed, 4ft 6 Double + 3ft Single

Very pleased with it. Delivery was excellent. Rather tricky to put up on your own, defo need a hand. Instructions could be a bit clearer. Very solid once assembled. Defo worth the money

We purchased one to try it out.We have now purchased 3 more, as they are much stronger than the metal beds we have purchased in the past, and YES adults can use the top bunk !!!rw

Overall very pleased with the product. It took two of us and some head scratching to put it together. We had lots of screws and dowels left over. But, once built it's pretty good. Very sturdy. Instructions could be a bit better but on the whole..quite straightforward. We didn't attach the ladder because we could see that it would make getting the double mattress and bedding onto the bed very awkward, so it's just propped against the wall ready to use when we need it. We were puzzled by the support that goes under the centre piece on the bottom. It's two pieces of wood that are screwed together but they're different heights, so we ended up making our own.

I definitely would NOT recommend this 3 sleeper bunk to anyone.The instructions were minimal, confusing any picture instructions were difficult to see and in fact We're of a different bunk. The parts were not labelled appropriately and the ladder was too short.It took 3 of us over 5 hours to build and one is a builder who has built many other bunks - he was appalled with the lack of instructions!Now that it is built it is creaky and will definitely need securing to the wall for stability as it's too unsafe.I bought it for adults as the advert said it was an adult 3 sleeper bunk and can take up to 34 stone - I highly doubt that!!!I desperately need the beds for this w'end otherwise I would return it and actually if it does not come up to scratch I will return it as it is not as described.

I have to say that after 3 weeks of use I don't really trust this bed.It got completely flimsy. And the wood is far too soft to keep re-tightening it (as the manual suggests).The material is just not fit for purpose for a bed.To have it in a safe condition I had to reinforce it on the joints.Moreover, after re-tightening it, 3 of the screws (the ones joining the legs to the head rails) lost their grip completely (again, this wood is too soft for a bed).

Product is of good quality, the main problem was the build time, six hours for me and my teenage son to complete it. The instructions are very hard to follow and rely on unclear black and white pictures, poorly written descriptions of what to do,and many of the pieces are unmarked, making it very difficult to understand which part was which. Now that it's up, it's absolutely solid though.

Kids love their new beds

Bought for my 16 year old and my 8 year old sons and they love it.Took 4 hrs to build because I'm methodical and wanted to get it right.Great value!
