If you like catching fish these are a go to. Compared next to the real thing you can't tell the difference in catch rate. They are soft and fish will tear them up, they last longer than real wax worms.

Catch tons of pan fish and the bait stays on the hook for continued use.

Good to have around when you don’t have live bait. They do catch fish but are not that durable.

I tried the product only twice. The first time I had no luck. Next time I went fishing I started off with live waxworm and the bluegills was really biting that day, so I switched to the waxie bait and caught quite a few also. My total catch that day was 22. I always have a moist towelette because I clean my hands after handling the waxie.(smells)

As good if not better than live bait. They stay on the hook and there alot in the jar.

I bought these to tip little hair jigs and wooly buggers. They work great! 1” Gulp minnows (without the jig) seem to work better, but they get torn off the hook much faster. The waxies stay on much longer, and there are about a million in the jar.

If you have little kids with short attention spans, and need to hook up fish (bluegills) quick these work great. Bluegill have hard time knocking them off the hook and in most cases they are good for a few catches unlike dough baits. I even smash the barbs on my hooks and they stay on.

These are very effective for catching small fresh and salt water fish like smelt and Trout.
