Got this to help my cat calm down. When she meows it's a very broken up meow. She always sounds nervous. She also chases my dog because she hates him. Decided to get this to see how well it would work with her. She's only 8 lbs so one full dose is about 120% of a dose for a cat her size. It's sticky stuff. And the cat didn't take it very well but she doesn't take stuff very well. It's somewhat thicker almost like honey. She was interested to take more after the first dose. Kept sniffing it and trying to get more but I didn't give her anymore. I think if you could mix it in with the food, it would be easier for them to take it. She does close her mouth and shake her head when I give it to her so it will end up on the floor and on her fur. But she cleans up and the dog helps clean the floor. :-) After she takes it, it seems like it takes about 10 minutes to kick in. She will move more slowly, lie down somewhere and act like she's super tired. The first time I gave it to her she laid down on the couch and just stared at nothing really. My dog came over and sniffed her face, which she would not put up with usually and smack him. She just stayed there, stared at him and only put her ears back. Didn't growl or meow or smack him. Then the dog jumped up onto the couch and laid down right next to her. She would either hit him, growl or run away if he did that. She just stayed there and didn't really do much. It was a nice change for us and the dog. Although, it does knock her out and make her far less playful. It lasts anywhere from 2 hours up to 8 hours. Depends I guess on the amount of stressful situations that are around her. When there are house guests around, it won't last as long. If it's just us and the dog, it usually lasts a long time. Definitely a big help in calming the cat down. I did try it with our dog but did not achieve any success really. I only gave him 2/5's of a dose though. But it should have done something. He was as hyper and jumpy as ever. It could be because he is only 1 year 3 months old though. The cat is about 3 years old. I would recommend buying it just to try it and see what happens. There are a lot of doses in the bottle. One full squeeze of the dropper will give you one dose. The dropper is quite small so you don't use much for each dose.

I show dogs as a hobby and frequently travel with two or more dogs. Since I am not a jerk who thinks everyone should be thrilled to have my dogs around, I try my hardest to be considerate of my fellow travelers. Some of my dogs will bark to alert me if they hear unfamiliar sounds or people walking outside, which is obviously not ideal in a hotel or airport. Others can get stressed in new or noisy environments, which basically describes all dog shows. A friend gave me this to try, and I am now on my fourth bottle. One squirt keeps my dogs calm and relaxed for roughly four hours. They seem to like the taste! They do not get sleepy, but they also do not feel the need to bark unless absolutely necessary for preservation of life. They can still compete in dog shows and are alert and focused. They are just very chill about things that would ordinarily cause them to react. I also board toy breed dogs in my home. One of my boarders is a chronic barker. Her owners and I have tried literally everything to modify her barking, including extensive training and behavioural interventions. To date, nothing has truly worked for her EXCEPT THIS. I took her to a dog show out of state with me, and the only time she barked was when it started wearing off! Otherwise she was wonderfully well behaved and actually seemed much happier, probably because she was feeling less stressed and anxious. Fair warning: some of my friends who tried it had dogs that did get sleepy and definitely seemed “stoned” or dopey on it. So although it has worked well for many of my dogs, it might not be for everyone.

I've been using the SynergyLabs Richard's Organics Pet Calm on my dogs (Shih Tzu's) for over a couple years. It was recommended by an employee at Petco to help with my dogs' anxiety with storms and fireworks. I started buying it off Amazon because it was a much better deal. The product I receive off Amazon seems the exact same (no issues with receiving a knock-off). My dogs will shake uncontrollably, pant, cry and run around whenever there is a thunderstorm or fireworks. The worst is at night when the keep you up shaking and barking. The Pet Calm helps my dogs calm down significantly. While it is not a cure-all, my dogs still get anxiety. This is all natural so it can only do so much. I feel better giving this to my dogs than a prescription medication that knocks them out or could have negative side effects. I haven't noticed any issues with negative side effects with this. It doesn't seem to leave them drowsy or out of it the next day. We haven't had any issues of this not being as effective over time. I found that paired with a Thundershirt it works better. The Thundershirt on it's own didn't do much for my dogs but paired with this, it helped a lot more. My dogs enjoy the taste of this. I just put their dose on a plate and they lick it off. If they are already very upset, they don't like to eat at all but I can still get them to take this with some coaxing. I can usually just put some on my finger and they'll like it off then finish the rest of the plate. I recommended this to my in-laws for their small dog who suffers from separation anxiety. She will destroy things in the home and doors when you leave her. They've also had success with it. Their dog doesn't like the taste much but will just swallow it when put directly in her mouth. I am very glad we found this product as it helps not only our dogs but us have a more tolerable time during storms. It also helps us get some sleep. Hopefully it will help with your pet as well.

It works still use it when ever my bask acts up.

I’ve used it a few times today on my cat, it does make her foam at the mouth, but it has a pleasant smell, the only reason I give it a three star is because there’s sugar in it, sugar is not good for cats. I wish you would say how much sugar was in it. Because I won’t buy it again until I know. It does seem to calm her down so I will use it and I’m not going to return it. But sugar is not good for animals especially cats. They don’t need things to be sweet. It’s unfortunate because I think this product could be very effective, you should make one without sugar.

Two things about this order: First, it was delivered to me on a Sunday! The United States Postal Service came to my door and delivered it. I was so shocked that they brought it to me on a Sunday! That was a nice surprise and a most welcome one because I was completely out of the Pet Calm. What is up with USPS delivering on a Sunday? I have no idea, but with Prime, my orders are here in no time. If you don't have Prime, get it!! It is so worth the $99.00 per year. That is all of $8.25 per month. I have placed 37 orders so far this year. The savings is phenomenal. I love Amazon! Second, the product works. I have a young Basenji and if you don't know about this breed then don't get one unless you are fully capable of giving this dog a lot of your time, energy and patience. He is so active and he picks on my other dogs hoping for them to play with him. Ha, they all hate it so I have to bring him down a notch so they can be at peace. Not to mention, he gets in to everything. I mean everything too!! I walk him every evening which helps. But he is still non-stop. This product does the trick. I give him 3 droppers full in the evening if he is high strung. I try not to do it all the time, but if needed, it works like a charm. Give it about 30 mins once you administer it. I've seen other customers disappointed with this product. It is not a instant fix. You may also need to up the dose. It has Valerian Root in it which smells weird, but I take Valerian at night to help me sleep. I've gotten used to the smell. He seems to love the taste, so it is a win, win for my hyperactive pooch! I recently decided to try Richard’s Organic Pet Calm for my 1-year-old mini poodle, who has been experiencing some anxiety. Given the positive reviews and the promise of a natural solution, I had high hopes that this product would help calm her down. Unfortunately, my experience with it was far from satisfactory. Firstly, I followed the instructions meticulously, ensuring that I administered the correct dosage at the recommended times. Despite this, I saw absolutely no improvement in my poodle's behavior. She remained just as anxious and jittery as before, if not more so. I kept using the product for several days, hoping that it might just need some time to take effect, but sadly, it never did. Not only did Richard’s Organic Pet Calm fail to work, but it also seemed to cause some mild digestive upset. My poodle, who usually has a hearty appetite, began eating less and had a bit of an upset stomach. This was the last thing I expected from a product marketed as organic and safe. Given the complete lack of positive results and the adverse effects, I am incredibly disappointed with Richard’s Organic Pet Calm. It was a waste of money and time, and I would definitely not buy it again. I am currently in the process of seeking a refund, and I sincerely hope the company honors this request. In conclusion, based on my experience, I would not recommend Richard’s Organic Pet Calm to anyone. If you're looking for a reliable solution to help calm your pet, I suggest exploring other options. This product, unfortunately, did not live up to its claims and left me feeling very let down.

I love this product been using it for years now, give it directly in mouth to my dogs according to weight and it's very good to calm my dogs when july 4th fireworks come along or thunderstorms or anything that gets my dogs anxious and nervous. I recommend it to try. It really works and best part it's natural ingredients so it will not harm your pet!

I didn't actually taste it, and had fun getting the cat to swallow it- he has Catzhiemers. Seemed to work, if only because he naffed off to the garden to sulk for an hour or so.

I have cross breed dog.. he always fear from loud sound and fire crackers.. I am buyed and use this medicine.. It's really works.. My dog behavior also changing so much.. Thank you for synergy lab and Amazon..

completely useless on my cat. After taking this he acted sleepy for few mins when we were at home. The moment I put him in his cage to take him to the vet, he started screaming and scary meowing all the way.I really had high hopes from this pet calmer,now I don't know what to do :(
