This was a much needed product for this summer. The set up is mostly straight forward (The adhesive foam it came with i had no idea how to use it, even with the instructions the purpose of the adhesive was unclear and i end up not using it, (same thing with the screws it came with) I was able to set it up without it however) We gonna get nerdy here so get ready: With it's performance (and this is in a room where there's little air circulation) there was a on average a 9°F decrease. In other words, its good, my room was about 80° when i turned it on and it went down to roughly 71° within 10 minutes. The noise it makes is acceptable. its like around ~54dB, bit louder than advertised, but its no big deal, and its very tolerable. One problem I often come across is that in my humid room it will often turn off because the water container at the bottom gets full fast, so I had to put the Unit on a Elevated surface (obviously had to make sure it wont roll off) with a bucket below it for continuous use (This also rid the need of dragging the whole unit outside to empty the water as it will all collect in the bucket I placed) Overall this is a good working A/C conditioner that delivered its promise to cool down ur hot room, would recommend.

Blows VERY cold air. Easy installation. Came with the window kit and the sponge stuff to line the window. The Unit can go out about 3.5-4 feet away from the window. If you are adding it to a room that already has cooling but is just not enough, this unit will definitely get the job done. It was 91 degrees in my outdoor craft room and i sat a thermometer on my leg about a foot from where the air blows out. Within about 15 minutes the thermometer read 71 degrees. If has a harder time reaching across the whole room but you can feel the cold air with in four feet pretty well. I had to reach customer service for help with something and they got back to me right away. They were very helpful!!!!!! Fixed what i needed quickly. Highly recommend them and this product.

I’ve only had it for a month but so far so good. I have a 50sf work from home office built into my garage with no ducts to it and no outdoor windows so I couldn’t put a window unit in. I punched a 4” hole in the wall with a duct vent and attached this to it. Zero issues with the step down from 6” to 4” for exhaust but I also have only ran it on low since my room is so small. It’s done great maintaining the room at 73 degrees when it’s 90 degrees outside. Good performance for the smaller BTU size. Noise is a little loud for the small room, this unit is about 2’ from me, but I wouldn’t consider it loud compared to other AC units. I use AirPods when on work calls and their noise cancellation works well enough that nobody has mentioned hearing anything while I’m on the calls.

It’s great my only complete is how cheap the plastic is. It feels like if I ever needed o take it apart to repair I’d break the plastic. The price is great,it cools down a decently large room very well for 5,000btu.

I really wish I hadn't bought this, it's been a huge waste of money. It only worked and cooled if I positioned it in a specific area of my room, the internal thermostat was inaccurate, it would constantly trip my electric breakers during heatwaves like nothing else, and now it's nothing more than a piece of garbage. I followed all instructions for storing and the compressor is broken and I can't use it. It's been a waste of money and now I'm going to have to figure out how to afford a new AC even though I bought this only a year ago, because this is now nothing more than an expensive piece of trash. I've never had an AC just break like this after so little use.

I recently purchased this portable air conditioner, and overall, I’m very satisfied with its performance. It cools my room quickly and does a great job keeping the temperature comfortable, even on hot days. The setup was straightforward, and the included window kit made installation easy.

I tilted it at an angle for a short ride in my r.v. , and ever since, the reading and modes are a bit off. I can still get it to run cold, although the digital readout and modes are screwy.

Bought this for a tornado shelter. Works great, not too loud AND the best part is it does NOT collect condensate! Some how it vaporizes it into the exhaust air. I didn’t believe it at first so I bench tested it. Ran it after a hard rain. Ran it full throttle for one hour and not 1 drop of water came out of the drain. I’m blown away by this and very happy to not deal with dumping a tank.
