Works great for my golden retriever
I bought this for my golden retriever after cancer surgery. It took a little training to get him used to it (he prefers to jump up into my SUV), but once he got used to it he did well with it. It’s sturdy, easy to fold up to get in and out of the car. The width and length were good for a dog his size and the carpet kept him from slipping on it when it rained. I did have a little trouble at first trying to figure out how to fold it without pinching my fingers, but once I used it a few times it was quick and easy to use and light weight enough to easily put it in my SUV.

Well made
I use this with my dog who is about 30 pounds. This has worked well for her when we are places with a lot of steps. She ruptured a disc a couple of years ago, so I'm trying to protect her back. This ramp is sturdy. The carpeting on it seems to give her something to grip onto. It folds up easily for portability and storage.

It works good to get my dogs in my truck.
It is heavier than i thought it would be.

Dog Walker
Works great, the pups love it. East for the older pup to get in and out of the truck. I use it on the 5th wheel too. Easy for the dogs to get in and out.

I'm in sort of a holding pattern with this product.
I'll preface this review by saying: I am a retired woman, short in stature and I have an 8 1/2-year-old, 91# Golden Retriever who doesn't live with stairs and is challenged when encountering them. He has never been carried so he freaks if you try to lift him. My household consists of him and I. He tore a ligament in his leg and had to have surgery. I purchased this ramp because it is the widest one, I could find, knowing jumping in and out of the car would not be in his future. While awaiting the surgery (a full week after the injury) we practiced the ramp every day, loading and unloading. He was very nervous, not to mention that he could not bear very much weight on the injured leg. We managed to get up the ramp, mostly with me lifting his rear end with a special harness. Unloading, he slides more than walks down. I cannot tell if that is due to his own fear or if he just can't grip the carpet. He is now 3 weeks post-surgery. He is not going for rides in the car at this point. I will add to this post after his 8-week check-up which will determine his level of activity going forward. The spring snap hook and the piece of material that holds/adjusts it broke from the ramp on the second use. If I hadn't had a good hold on the special harness on my dog's rear the damage may have been catastrophic. Needless to say, the ramp fell to the ground further frightening my dog. My son repaired the clamp attachment for me.I understand the weight of the ramp given the construction. I believe it would hold up well. It is awkward to fold and unfold. It is always quite windy where I live, which increases the awkwardness of folding/unfolding the ramp.At the moment I am not super impressed with this product. I know that my dog will get used to using the ramp once that becomes the norm for him. I want this product to work. I've tried other ramps in the past and none fit the door of an SUV or Sedan. Other ramps are not wide enough either. I'm using this at the rear of my SUV. My dog is used to going almost everywhere with me. I'd hate to have a ramp change that for us.

Not right for my dogs
I was hoping the ramp would help my elderly dogs go down the steps onto my patio. They were afraid and both fell off the ramp. It actually made things worse so I returned it. The quality of the ramp was great, but it wasn't a good fit for my needs. I feel like a dog would need some training to use this for safety.

Scooter Ramp
I use this ramp to load and unload my mobility scooter. My scooter comes apart and a few of the pieces are too heavy for me. The ramp attaches easily to my suv and I can just push the pieces up the ramp. It seems sturdy and I like the fact that it folds up and is lightweight.
