My son is on steroids that strip his body of Vitamin D, so we have to replace it with supplements. His labs kept showing low Vitamin D every time he took them for 4 straight years. my Vit D was a little low on my lab testing so i started taking these instead of going outside more. they're pretty easy to swallow but i wouldn't try it without some water. i don't really know what the absorbency is but they don't seem to come out the other end so i assume they are absorbed well. i was asked to rate the flavor, it is a capsule so i suppose i could open it and try but i assume that would be awful (i mean, they put it in a capsule so that i wouldn't have to taste it right?). Anyway, they taste like water to me.

My doctor prescribed me this vitamin D3, but my insurance only pays for a chemically made vitamin D3, so I prefer to pay with my own money to buy this natural made supplement from Naturelo.
