good rubber trim for thin sheet metal edges
This stuff is made for a thin edge maybe 2mm thick. The consistency of the rubber is pretty good and flexible, but the adhesive is a little bit frustrating. What makes it a frustration is that it's a gel-like/rubberized adhesive and tends to work its way out from underneath the plastic pull-strip. Because of it moving out from under the strip on its own, it will stick the rubber together while you are trying to push it onto something. It can be a headache because picking a little bit of the adhesive is likely to pull more adhesive with it... Resulting in what can turn out to be a sticky, clingy, stringy mess. To avoid this adhesive just getting real stupid messy, I advise you to use caution when applying the trim; as slow and careful application (with maybe a plastic card or guitar pick) can yield much nicer result. Maybe even a few drops of water might make it easier. DONT REMOVE THE RED PLASTIC STRIPS UNTIL THE RUBBER TRIM IS PLACED CORRECTLY ON YOUR DESIRED ITEM. Those red strips cover the adhesive. Its a good product but it takes some patience to get right and can be slighlty difficult to apply in a short time, so dont get in a hurry or you could make a mess. **This size rubber trim is not recommended for any thicker material edges than maybe 5mm maximum. Most of the inner channel space will be taken up by its own double adhesive strips.

Good protection from sharp metal edges
This self-adhesive edge trim works reasonably well to cover the edges of thin metal to provide protection from chafing and cuts. The trim is flexible, and the thickness is a nice balance of "no too thin, but not too thick."As with many products with self adhesive strips, removing the plastic protective strip can be somewhere between tricky and frustrating, with the adhesive sometimes wanting to come off the trim when the plastic protective strip is peeled off. If the surrounding area allows, it is best to apply one side of the trim, leaving the protective plastic covering on the other, then removing the plastic from the "other" side and adhering it. Removing the plastic slowly, and just a little at a time, helps also.Overall, this trim does the job of providing protection with relatively easy application, and I am pleased with it.

Soft and flexible molding
Works great for the sides of the car door. Very flexible around curves without creasing. More than enough to do 4 doors.

Trash
The adhesive has adhered to itself so you will need to buy your own glue.

Very flexible material. Product descripion is accurate.
This EPDM edge trim is very flexible. It includes two internal tape strips. One strip of tape on each side. The Amazon product description is accurate and the product is self explanatory. I plan to use this edge trim for home remodeling and odd jobs. My home is constructed of steel, including the steel wall studs. The steel edges are sharp are not permitted to contact electrical wiring. This EPDM edge trim will be great for covering sharp edges in critical areas.

Nice roll of edge trim
I used this to edge around my outdoor flush mount ceiling lights and it worked well. It wasn't too hard to get it around the edge and then the red tape pulled off easily to allow it to stick to the rim. The thickness is just right to not be bulky but allow for some cushion. This is a solid product for the quality and price, and I would recommend.

Eh, kinda bad
The trim itself is pretty well made. It seems like it would work well for what I needed it for. However, the adhesive sticks to the peeling paper, so when you pull it off, you're taking the adhesive with it. And, that's if you happen to get a piece that the adhesive hasn't melted out and stuck itself to the opposite side. This COULD work, but it's such a pain that it's almost not worth using.

Average, that's about it.
Decent rubber trim, BUT, the glue to hold it in place is a bit of a hit and miss. The red tape will remove the glue as well if you are not careful, which should not happen at all. For my application, I really do not need the glue, but if you require it, take your time and hopefully you have better results.
