I've been looking for a iPad holder for when I played keyboards in my band, and this one is awesome because it clips ( and rotates up) right on the stand arm - it is very solid, especially if you take the little rubber protective feet off. There are also some other better options like the On-Stage KSA7575+ Universal Keyboard Mic Attachment Bar - especially if you already have an iPad holder and need something super tough - but this one comes with the iPad holder already and seems to have a really good build quality, great for most use. And better build quality then most.

I was a little nervous but it's strong enough to hold my regular sized tablet (NOT a mini) and obviously as a musician, you have to make sure there is 1 leg of the tripod forward for equal weight distribution. This is true anyway when you place the mic boom, so you should know what I'm talking about. This device works great and easily packs up small and also easily tightens to where I feel secure and perform for 3 hours. Highly recommend and have used now for many, many gigs. I also love how adjustable it is with only 1 pivot point to tighten/loosen. UPDATE A YEAR LATER: still awesome and I still often recommend!

I needed a holder that could connect at a right angle to the front, yet could extend forward by 6 inches or so. This does that perfectly! Well constructd all metal holder. I use a 10 inch tablet and the spring is so tight I thought it might snap the tablet in half! The clamp for the pole holds quite well but I need to glue the plastic clamp covers or they fall off. I single thumb screw somehow holds the whole articulations completely stiff. Not sure how that works but once in place it is very sturdy. All in all, I've had 2 other holders from other companies that were all plastic and this Mippko holder is way better.

I love this mount for my iPad. It is very adjustable and stable for holding my tablet. The length and adjustability are excellent, but unfortunately the jaws that hold the iPad are too short to work with my iPad in the case. If not for that that this is excellent product. it is metal and seems very durable. I actually would like it to be an inch or two longer, but it is a good product.

I seriously love this mount! It’s super sturdy and holds my 12-inch iPad Pro in its case — which is rare. Most mounts force you to take the case off, but this one fit perfectly and locked in tight. I use it on both my indoor bike and treadmill, and it’s solid on both — no shaking or slipping, even during intense workouts. The grip strength and flexibility are A1. What really impressed me is how versatile it is — I can clamp it to my desk, kitchen island, or even other surfaces when I’m not training. Definitely worth every penny. I’m already planning to grab a second one so I don’t have to keep switching it between equipment. (Photos & videos show it mounted on my bike and treadmill with my iPad Pro in the case — solid fit all around!)

Sturdy Easy to set up

I was in two minds which of the tablet holders to get. A goose neck or adjustable arm. The goose neck seemed good because it could be manipulated anywhere. But read one comment that it didn't hold the weight of a tablet. So wasn't game to chance it. This model with the adjustable arm had a previous review where a person had used it on the leg of a pedal steel guitar and that was exactly what i wanted it for. It is sturdy and can be positioned anywhere and suited my purpose 100%. the setup is very convenient to use. Clamp, in my case to pedal steel leg, the clamp opens quite wide. Put the tablet holder in the 360 holder and tighten. This leaves the two arms that flop around all over the place. Don't worry just place the tablet where you require it and hold with hand and tighten the knob between the two arms with your other hand and because of some clever engineering, the whole thing locks up solid. Very Clever. The clamp holding the tablet is very strong and once setup everything remains rock steady. Recommend..
