Bought this to hold a cell trail cam. Like how it came with a strap. Easy to install and adjust. Happy with purchase.

Bought this for a Moultrie cell game camera for security on an outdoor shed. Camera too heavy for it and would not hold it in position. Would hold it for about a day then would tilt down and take pics of the wall. Had to buy a different brand and style of mount to replace it.

I was unable to get a good angle with my cam using a strap so I was looking for something sturdy that would have a system to angle my cam up & down and back & forth. This product works great for that. It's also metal and has multiple ways to mount on tree or building. The base has jaggy edges that will bite into the tree's bark to stay in place with 4 screws thru the mounting plate or there's slots if you want to use a strap. I only have two complaints/suggestions. The mounting screws provided are only an inch long which are far too short for mounting on a rough barked tree, but probably adequate if mounting to a building or fence. The 2nd problem is the tightening system could be improved a little and somehow made more theft-proof. It would be easy to just loosen the tightening know and steal the camera. Depending on how you adjust the camera it is usually away from the tree too far to use a locking cable correctly snugged to the tree. I was able to overcome these problems with a little ingenuity. I liked it enough to purchase a second one for another camera.

The media could not be loaded.  My last camera finally bit the dust. I purchased this one as a replacement- All I can say is WOW! This one has so many more features than my old one did. It takes 12 AA batteries and claims that you do not have to change them for months. It is high definition, and you can change the quality of the pictures as well as the frame rate. It also has night vision capabilities that are simply amazing. They look like high quality black and white video. As you can see in the photos below, the quality is excellent. (I am still playing around with the settings, but I had to crop these pictures as they were very clear, but also very large in MB. Just to let you know, it puts a timestamp on the bottom, but i inadvertently cropped them to get them to fit on this review. It is very compact and east to mount with the provided strap. My favorite thing about this , is the fact that you can view it on the spot. My old model had a separate viewer that you put the SD card into to view- this one has the viewer built in. One less thing to carry with you into th77777777e woods. I cannot stress how wonderful this is - I have seen many deer, quite a few raccoons and even a bear on my property. If you have a hunter in the family, this is the one to get.

Have three of these for my three cameras. I like these because I can make adjustments, and aim cameras in lots of directions, and if I want to remove camera, I just lift it from it's tree attached cradle without having to loosen straps.

This is far beyond the best outdoor portible security mount for my home security camera. I recently bought the Zumimall Dzees home security camera, and I did not want to have a permanent mount screwed into the house in the back yard. So I bought this mount to secure on one of the trees in the back yard where we are having a neighbors dog pooping in our back yard and gardens. We do not have a dog and there is a leash law in our community. This mount is perfect as I can move the camera in any direction to the exact position I want it to record. It's very durable and secure. It is easy to attach to another tree or object, quickly and securely. Also, it has not caused any damage to any objects that I have attached to it in any way. Wonderful mount.

This is my favorite of all the tree mounts I've tried. Easy to install and position the camera.

Compared to other mounts it is good value for price. It mounts easily and it articulates so camera can be positioned in any direction.

Mit dieser Halterung konnte ich meinen Beamer an meinem Ikea Regal in der richtigen Höhe befestigen. Die Halterung hat ¼ Zoll Gewinde wie ein Stativ zum befestigen eines Beamers. Dadurch ist das Bild in der richtigen Höhe das Bild nicht mehr Trapezförmig. Jetzt füllt das Bild die "100" Rahmenleinwand komplett aus. Links und rechts sind jeweils 2cm Rand zusehen. Oben und unten sind jeweils 0,5cm Rand zu sehen. Der obere und untere Rand ist fast nicht mehr zu sehen. Nur links und rechts sieht man einen 2cm Rand bis zum Rahmen der Leinwand. Das stört mich aber nicht so sehr. Die Halterung ließ sich schnell und einfach befestigen. Die Halterung ist sehr stabil und aus Metall gefertigt. Zum befestigen wurde ein Gurt mitgeliefert. Der Gurt war zwar etwas zu lang aber ließ sich gut kürzen.

endlich mal ein solides Teil, welches ich gerne positiv beurteile. Für mich ist der Preis okay.

I think this camera will serve it's purpose out in the field. The only think that I don't like is that if you are using an external power source like a Solar Panel you must unplug it prior to opening the camera, other then that well worth the money.
