So this is one product that I’ve purchased on Amazon that I never wanted to have to review. However, the inevitable happened and I’m happy to say, this was an outstanding purchase. I came home from picking my son up from baseball practice and found my wife sitting on the couch, holding a towel on her hand with blood dripping abundantly from her hand. She said, I cut myself. I had to remove the towel and saw a large laceration going diagonal across her index finger. The amount of blood said at all, but I took a look at it and realized immediately it was going to need stitches. It was a clean, cut with a clean knife and had bled enough that I wasn’t worried about infection so no need to wash it off or irrigate it. I grabbed the first aid kit, located these wound closures and went to work. After blocking the blood away from her fingertip, I was able to install one of the narrow wound closures lengthwise along her finger. The adhesive held, even though there were some blood remaining on her finger. The zip closure is clean and smooth to operate with incremental steps that were just right to bring her skin back together and immediately stop the bleeding. As a precaution, I used a large bandage to keep the wound clean and put a finger brace on to keep her from accidentally moving it or bumping it. We are now on day three of having the wound closure in place. She did a good job of keeping the wound closure dry during showers until last night. It was stood some water but last night was finally able to make the adhesive break loose. That gave me an opportunity to check the wound and I decided she’s gonna need them on for a couple more days at least. We applied a second wound closure after taking the first one off. It operated just a smoothly and consistently as the first. My confidence in this product has drastically increased, and I am now ordering a few more sets to keep on hand and each of my first aid kits, including the one I take when I’m coaching Little League, each of our vehicles, first aid kits and our home first aid kit. This saved me hundreds of dollars an emergency room, bill bills, several hours of my time by not having to wait in the waiting room at the emergency room and peace of mind, knowing that we can be just that much more self reliant. Excellent product highly recommended!

Has what you need for a cut that might require a couple of stitches without trip to ER. Was able to stop bleeding on inch long half inch deep cut with pressure & gauze pads. Sterilized & cleaned area and used bigger square clear bandage. Pull the 3 zipper type ties in small increments to close wound. Cut excess off ties & Done! Wound pulled together so pain minimized since wound is closed and not exposed. Had a much larger similar cut a year ago & fought constantly to keep wound closed to heal properly. Used the liquid bandage glue but only lasted a few hours before coming back apart. Wish I had these! Both together are everything needed for a proper heal. Very impressed & will keep on hand for any future incidents.

Great product. My mom had an operation on her knee, and after a couple days the bandages fell off and the wound started splitting open. I got these for her with 3 hour delivery in a pinch and she was really happy with the results. She cleaned the wound, applied the bandage, and pulled the zipties to seal it shut.

As a registered nurse, I keep an emergency kit both in my car and at home. I recently added these Emergency Wound Closure Strips to be prepared for any situation. Fortunately, I haven't had to use them yet, but it’s reassuring to know they’re there. Upon opening the package to inspect one, I found them easy to understand and straightforward to use. They seem to be made of decent material and look like they'll do the job. I’ll definitely update this review if I ever need to use one. For now, I’m giving it a 4-star rating, simply because I haven't tested them in action yet. They’re a handy addition for anyone wanting peace of mind and preparedness.

I had a 4 inch laceration down to the fascia on my left shin. Garden accident. I ordered this product on Monday, received it before noon on Tuesday and used the butterfly bandage with the pull closures. Works like a dream! My wound is haling so fast I can't believe it!. Great to have on hand fir emergencies. I highly recommend!

These work great for split heels.

I'm so glad I have these on hand. My husband cut his elbow wide open this year and had these to use. Cleaned out the wound very well and applied the big one to his elbow. Closed it up tight left it on and you can't even see a scar.
