Kryptonite locks are the best. Great solution for sharing a lock and not having to share keys.

I love this bike lock because it is keyless. I have deliberately eliminated as many keys as possible in my life and this was one important purchase in that effort. I commute on my bike regularly and now this bike lock lives on my daily commuter bike. I never have to worry about losing the key, and always have access to my bike when it is locked by remembering a simple 4 digit code... a code which I can reset whenever and as often as I like, very easily. The mount which affixes the lock to my bike works very well, though I did have to play around to find the best position for it. Thankfully it is rather adaptable. I hope I never need to, but I would buy this lock again if need be, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who needs a bike lock, especially if they are trying to live a minimalistic, key-less lifestyle.

I just received a brand new Kryptolok Combo and it does not open with 0-0-0-5 as it should. I have also tried 0-0-0-0 and 1-2-3-4 and other standard combinations, but nothing works. I have tapped the lock repeatedly with a rubber mallet according to the support page recommendations. I have sprayed pure silicone into the mechanism. I have sprayed Houdini. I let it sit out in the sun. I used a rubber mallet and a screwdriver to try to push the lever to the left with more force. I have tried to reach Kryptonite by phone and they don't respond to voicemail messages. I have tried to use the online Kryptonite support resources but the form that I have filled out multiple times has failed to send each time because of some requirement that I "read the disclaimers" that don't seem to be accessible from the form or because the form requires me to provide the key number (for a combo lock?!) or some other nonsensical requirement. This is clearly a company more interested in creating obstacles for customers than solving their problems.

And… the combination is already 0000 and couldn’t unshackle it. I looked every where and didn’t see anything at all. I had googled it and it’s either 0000 or 0005… it’s 0005 and it worked but I’m returning it. Would be nice if you put that somewhere or people are going to get upset.

Great and very sturdy. Make sure you keep your documentation with the unique number of the lock on it so that if you lose the key as my careless kid dead, you can get another one from the manufacturer! :)

Solid lock. Very heavy, but just what I needed for my expensive new hybrid bike. Comes with a mounting system that I did not use. I carry the lock on my back rack with a bungee cord. Combo is convenient and has big letters. TB

Lock itself is great however, the holder that attaches to the bike is not a holder and does not work, falls off bike, does not hold the lock in place. Ended up just carrying the lock or putting it in my bike basket. For the price you pay should have a sturdy holder for the lock to attach to the bike

Great lock! Very convenient with the combo lock, and the mount works well. I would've preferred the mount to be screwed tight but so far it works well. The lock looks chunky enough to probably discourage most thieves.
