Q: Just got mine but it stops before the 45 is over . It this a defect ?

It shouldn't stop before it is played. Check the needle a and make sure it is all the way down

Q: Is anyone having problems with the record skipping? It seems like the surface is uneven and the needle goes up and down.

It is wobbly by design. If it skips, replace the needle. They seem to be fragile. I struggled removing the cap from the installed needle and I think it bent the needle. When I installed the replacement, the record played with no skipping.

Q: How do you charge this? Also mine did not come with any extra needles or power cord.

You should contact the seller and return this item. You should have an extra needle and a power cord. This is a great item when you have all of the parts. There is not skipping or distorted sound. And the volume is great. We have the pink one

Q: Can it not play Bluetooth iPhone music and have turntable spinning at the same time? Would be extra soothing if it did!

No, the turntable will stop when Blueooth mode is on and vice versa.
