Just like many other reviewers, I got these drives, and about 5 worked fantastically out of the box, 3 worked but with degraded performance, and 2 were just completely miserably slow. You do have to play around with the format options and cluster size on these, but after you find that sweet spot, they're fantastic for the price. 5/5 overall with a 4/5 for ease of use for that reason. The slowest one out of them all was only copying at 4 kb/s originally, wish I had read the very helpful comments here before I threw that one in the trash! Exfat with a 32 kb cluster size worked great on the one that had the 2nd worst performance out of the box. TL:DR - These work great and are more than worth the cost, but you have to play around with the formatting options to get the performance.

I purchased these flash drives and received them on Mar 8th I ordered the 10 All Black 32 GB flash drives. As soon as I received this product I opened one up to see the technical side of the drive and everything was good! I also put them though tests to see the exact read and write speeds. (Write speed = 7.15 MB/s, Read Speed = 25.05) These speeds may seem bad at first but if you didn't read the description for their speeds that's your fault. The read speed is about 1 MB/s over what they advertise. I also tested for corrupted storage and overwritten files, nothing was overwritten or corrupted. For $26.48 aka $2.65 Per flash drive I would have to say its a bargain for anyone who needs boot drives, Photo storage, Small data Transfers, Documents, and anything that may be small. These drives come formatted in FAT 32 and if needed can be easily reformatted. (I ran all tests in Ubuntu Linux with F3) I already have referred friends of this product and they are going to purchasing this product.

EDIT: After I left the review below, Sunny from Enfain reached out to me to see if we could fix the slow drive problem. They suggested reformatting all the drives to exFAT format. Once I did that, I was able to copy around 1.7GB to one of the drives (that had performed very slow originally) in a little over 4 minutes. Not bad for a USB 2.0 drive. I'm sure others know of this workaround, I'm just a bit slow! So, I changed my original 1-star review to a 5-star review, not just because the drives are usable but for the incredible support of the company. They reached out within hours of my review going live and I really appreciate the solution. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again. Thank you Sunny! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I thought I had a bad flash drive after the first in the 10 pack took a very long time to copy a few files. I popped in another drive and it also took about the same amount of time. Maybe 2 out of the package of 10 could be bad? Not so lucky. They aren't actually bad, just INCREDIBLY SLOW, to the point of being almost entirely unusable for anything but an occasional small file. While one of these got to 57% in about 45 minutes when I tried to copy 1.8GB of data, I popped in one of my other drives I had purchased about the same time (Kootion brand) and had all the data copied over in under 2 minutes! I realize there is a difference between USB 2.0 and 3.0, but not THAT much! I'll be sure to stick with other brands from now on, money is far too scarce to waste on things like this!

EDIT: Since writing my review I received a message from the seller and they clarified that my issue was due to the formatting of the drives. By default they are formatted in FAT 32 which only allows file transfers of 4 gigs or less. That being said if all files put onto the drive were less than 4 gigs then the entire 32 gigs are usable. That being said if you reformat the drive to exFAT then larger files can be transferred. I tested this on one of the drives I was having issues with and it did work. For that reason I'm upping my review from 2 to 4 stars (the drives are still a bit slow on the file transfer, but honestly for the price : value ratio this is honestly a really good deal now that I know this trick. Definitely recommend! I bought these flash drives because I needed something with a decent amount of storage to transfer files between computers that was a bit more portable than an external HDD. While some of these are close to the advertised 32 GB, not even close to all of them are. The smallest one I've found so far is less than 8 GB, but the average amongst the bunch seems to be somewhere in the mid to high 20s GB range. All of the flash drives state that they are 32 gigs when plugged into the computer, but if you try to transfer more than a certain amount of data onto them, it will return an error that there isn't enough room on the drive. This is either blatantly false advertising or really poor quality control.

I have hundreds of photos and over 1000 mostly handwritten papers to scan and share with 20 people. I t will take years to do all the scanning so I bought 32 gb thumb drives with the idea that I could start out with photos and give out the thumb drives, to be added to as more gets done. I scanned 300 photos as tiffs and jpegs and put only the jpegs on the thumb drives with tiffs available by request. . The jpegs took 3.75 gb. Tiffs would have been another 26 gb, which would use up most of the drives. All tested fine. The curious thing was we used three computers to upload the photos to the drives - An Apple laptop, a 15 year old Apple desktop and a pc laptop. The old apple desktop took 16 minutes to upload 300 photos. The pc took 45 minutes and we gave up on the Apple laptop after 3 hours, when it still had 25 photos to go. Moral to the story - the speed of uploading these may well depend on your device, not the thumb drives.

These look really fancy, copy fairly fast, and seem like good quality. I sell them with talks at conferences.

Do not waste your money. I used 2 of the for 2 weeks with my business and had no issues. I came out one morning to start work only to have all my files either in symbols or another language. Apparently all files are corrupted so files were lost. No luck from the Chinese company and really not with the hassle of sending them back overseas.
