I have been looking to get one of these for a while but wanted one with a low floor clearance. I didn't want to increase the bed height of my bandsaw and this did the trick perfectly. It was relatively easy to put together, just bear in mind the instructions are not very good and the pictures are a bit fuzzy. The smaller nylon washers go either side of the fixed wheels and the larger ones are for the swivel wheels. Having assembled the 4 corners measure the width and length of your unit (I then added 20mm to the length and width on mine) cut your board and fit these on each corner.As you can see very easy to use, making it so much easier to tuck the machine into a corner when its not needed. I think the unit is a tad expensive for what it is but its well made, very sturdy and I'm pretty pleased. One final note, inside the box was a leaflet saying register the unit and get a free spring clamp, however this is not available in the UK, its only for the US :(

Bought this for my ~100kg bandsaw. Works a treat.Bit fiddly to assemble but not rocket science. I was surprised the top section of each corner - the grey triangles - didn't fit that well against the bottom sections. Like neither was quite square. But it seems to make no difference.Feels extremely robust and solid, even with a cheap bit of melamine coated chipboard as the base (an Ikea PAX wardrobe side!).I avoided the cheaper copies of this based on the reviews and glad I went for this.

Well made and for the money no complaints. All threaded sections in the base worked fine, options of two lengths of fixing bolts a nice surprise. Only had to ream out two holes for rubber feet. I added some extra washers to fixed wheels and foot levers to reduce the play a bit and it wasn’t much of a fiddle to do this, but some may disagree. I may end up putting some extra rubber pads on the swivel wheel corners to help increase grip as expect in time the smaller rubber feet may wear on my concrete floor but all in all impressed. I’ll probably buy another .

I needed to make a very iron router table move able around my small workshop. It had splayed legs whose dimensions were larger than any of the off the shelf wheeled bases. This solution allowed me to make a wheeled base to the exact size I needed using plywood. The weight of the router table is on the wheels so not too much strain on the plywood. Bonus is that you get a storage shelf if you need it with the plywood base.

I found assembly slightly tricky, mainly due to poor photo prints!When I spent an extra minute or two on working it out logically, careful assembly and both units work fine. One with my bandsaw on it, a hefty enough, medium sized one and the other for a home made stand with my belt/disc sander mounted on it. Both units are now very easy to move around in my limited space and the size being so easy to set be just cutting ones choice o& wood to size is excellent.

Surprisingly good quality for the money, iv used them on my spindle moulder which is very heavy, and they work perfectly with an mdf base very easy and quick to move around , and locate. Perfect

Well built smart solution for moving machines etc. Nice that there are multiple options to place the wheels so that the levers can be placed where they aren't too much in the way. A bit pricy and needs some adjustments when mounting on thick base sheets.

Solid construction and makes it easy to move around heavy woodworking equipment.

I originally bought the HTC2000 Adjustible Mobil Base kit and extra extender kit to make a base for my compound miter saw which is on a stand that is 28” wide by 63” long. The HTC2000 and extender kit went together fine and moved the saw around great. The problem I had with that arrangement was every time I went to use the saw I tripped over the mobile base frame because it was a giant rectangle frame. The stand that the saw sits on has upside down V-shaped flared out legs. Between the legs the saw sits on a pair of parallel bars that connect to the top of the Upside down V - so they are more centered than the full width of the legs at the floor level. I kept trying to figure out how to modify that mobile base unit so the front part of the frame wouldn’t be right where you need to stand to use the saw.I started looking around on Amazon again at mobile bases and discovered the Portamate PM-1100 so decided to give it a try. Glad I did! I just finished assembling it and it works great. I used some 1x6 pressure treated boards for the 28” short ends and a 63” piece of 2x4 down the center forming large “H” configuration. I connected the boards into the “H” using some carriage bolts. Plopped the saw on top of the big “H” and it works perfectly! Rolls around very nicely and no more tripping over the frame.A few suggestions for assembly...when you are assembling the corner pieces, drill the holes a little bigger than the size of the bolt. If you have a drill press use that. I didn’t get some of my holes straight at first and had trouble lining up the holes for the top/bottom plates until I reamed out the holes I drilled crooked. Also it would have been great to have a second set of hands available especially when I was fighting the crooked holes but I eventually used the bench vice and that helped. Plan out and then double check your plan where you want the swivel wheels to be - both on the short end or on the lon end. I thought I had it figured out until it was all together and I realized for such a long piece it would be better to have the swivel wheels on the short end. So After struggling with all my crooked holes, I had to take it all apart and put it together again with the wheels in different corners. Went together easier the second time! Lastly, be aware that there isn’t much clearance under the bottom plate, only about a half inch, so if your floor isn’t level or you are moving a long piece down a signtly sloped floor, you will scrape bottom.I plan to buy another Portamate PM-1100 for my lathe and configure it like I did for the miter saw, just not sure what to do with the HTC2000 now but I’m sure in time I will find a tool that needs wheels. Good luck - this was a good project for me, a novice just setting up a shop.
