Superb Product, ideal solution if you don't want to deal with fixed high raised beds or ''keeping your greenhouse cleaner''
This product is great! I don't have much knowledge about growing vegetables, but with these bags you seemingly just can't go wrong - not even me! I am using 25 of all sizes from 15l - 60l for herbs, Tomato, Peppers, Runner-Beans, and more. they are all literally exploding in these bags, well ahead of the same plants I stuck into ceramic pots as comparison. You can't flood the flowers - it will drain perfectly. The soil seems to be well aerated and, if I have to move things around in my greenhouse it still is possible - even though I am over 60 with a bad back - this is not possible with the few big pots I still use. The material seems of excellent quality and I am sure they will last for a good few seasons. Seems and handles are strong. They also seem to maintain the warmth in the soil for longer, very comfortable for the roots. Absolutely no negative point. I intend to build up my entire vegetable growing based on these or next year. Delivery and packaging all good Recommended.

Good sturdy bags
We've planted potatoes and carrots in these bags. They're easy to move around the garden and being able to fold them down is a real bonus with the potatoes. They look like they'll last for a few years.

Very well made, seem to be ideal replacements for grow bags.
Very well made and nice looking: These seem to be very good. I bought these as Amazon were out of stock of the bigger size, and I thought it would probably be a good idea to try the smaller ones first anyway. They seem to be extremely well made, the stitching is good all the way round and they look really nice, I love the green logo, they look more 'professional' than an old pot! Grow bag replacement for tomatoes: My idea was to use these instead of grow bags for my tomatoes, I hoped they would work with the Gardman Grow-Bag Cane Frame (Triple Pack) that I had recently bought - and they do! The fit is very slightly snug, but that's a good thing as that improves the support, the handles of the GardenMate plant pots fit nicely over the frames so they look made to measure. Hopefully I will get a few years use from these pots and save a quid or two by not having to buy growbags. Time will tell if my tomatoes thrive in these pots, reports I have read suggest that the root formation is improved using theses semi-permeable pots so I am hoping for pounds and pounds of tasty toms. I will update my review at harvest time.

A great alternative to plastic.
I was looking for some post to grow my vegetables in this year but to get a good size plastic or terracotta pot costs a lot and after a season the cheap plastic ones will inevitably get brittle and break. These seem very sturdy with a couple of handles to allow you to move them when full. Having said that I probably would try and put them where you want them before filling with soil as these hold up to 60 litres. They work well with drainage, being made of fabric so you don't have to worry about waterlogged plants. Supposedly being made of fabric encourages 'air tipping' so that when the roots reach the air at the side of the pot they will stop and grow deeper instead of outwards. I have mine filled with 50 litres each so that they're not brimmed and have a mixture of tomatoes, sweetcorn and peppers planted in them. The depth of them means that I think these are far superior to the traditional grow bags made of plastic as these have approx 4 times the depth. And the best part is that once the season is over you can flat pack them and store them without taking up much space at all.

Great planters, seem very strong
We bought these to grow potatoes and carrots down on our allotment as we didn't have room to grow them in the ground and have been using them since June, so can't give any stars on durability as they have only been used for a short while. However our vegetables are growing fabulously, the soil remains moist without drying out as in some other containers you may use. I think if you take care of them and clean them out thoroughly after each use they could last a while which is what we are hoping for. May even buy some more for other veg. Great if you are limited on space plus I think you could also use them as general purpose planters. Easy to move as well. I would recommend.

Very nice and sturdy with a good base - time will tell with mould
I bought these after reading the reviews and description, to replace my aging potato bags. I can see that they will allow air in and I have them in use already. They're quite sturdy and feel like you can lift them up without too much deformation, meaning you could shift the bags if they needed to be moved without disturbing the roots too much. Time will tell if they get more moldy than plastic and how long they last, but I have high hopes for them. The base isn't plastic or reinforced beyond being the same material and well sewed. In fact, all of the stitching looks and feels well done. For the price, I do have high standards for the bags, and so far, they're doing really well. I would replace all of the plastic bags with them, actually, even at this early stage, but they're already in use.

Incredibly sturdy and easy to pack away
I started gardening on my balcony last year, raising mostly local vegetables and a few flowers that attract bees and butterflies. I had great success with these growing bags except for some cases (cucumbers and carrots) where, due to my own inexperience, I planted them too close together and the fruit they bore were tiny. Drainage: The material drains really well when you overwater or have lots of rain. In my area last year, we had a few incredibly hot days followed by huge downpours that sometimes lasted for days. The soil would be at a perfect moisture level again after half a day or so after getting absolutely soaked and I never had issues with standing or stagnating water. Sturdyness: I'm reusing a lot of the soil this year and so most of my bags (I purchased 15 of this size and 2 of the shorter, oval ones) were left outside with soil in them. I cleaned them today by removing some leaves that had fallen on and removing a few weeds sprouting here and there and carried them downstairs because I'm moving to our terrace and planting more food this time around. The bags are as nice and sturdy as they were after I purchased them last year. I specifically checked for holes or loose threads and couldn't find a single one. I even had some areas where I could see sticks poking the material from the inside (I filled some of the bags like you would a raised bed for herbs with very shallow roots) and it didn't penetrate or visibly damage them. I also had to carry bags filled to the brim with soil and the side handles had zero issue with the weight. Again, no torn stitches or anything and no noticeable stretching. I was also worried that they might bulge out and the material would become too porous over time, so that soil and tiny bits of plant matter might get through. However, after a full season and leaving them fully exposed outside during a moderately cold German winter, I can safely say there is no bulging, thinning or discoloring of any kind happening. Negatives: I'm overall incredibly happy with these and if I need more plant bags, it'll definitely be from this brand. However, two things to keep in mind that don't really bother me that much but might be important to you: -> The bags heat up very well and retain a lot of heat. Especially during our hotter days, the bags were noticeably hot to the touch and the very edge of the soil was often fully dried out. Since I'm in a zone 7b, those this extra heat was brilliant for my more sun and heat loving plants like tomatoes. So after noticing this issue, I simply moved the bags around on my balcony and positioned the more heat loving / resistant plants so that the sides of their bags were more exposed. During the hottest days, I opted to water twice per day and reduce the amount of each watering a bit. This worked out perfectly. -> Carrying the full bags can be a bit annoying. They're obviously quite heavy and the handles on the sides aren't wide enough for my hands to comfortably fit through while wearing gardening gloves. It was doable, but I got stuck a few times while trying to remove my hand. Without gloves, the material is quite rough and uncomfortable if you have to carry it for longer distances. Obviously, I don't plan on carrying full bags around every other day, but keep this in mind if you are in a situation where you will have to move them a lot. Pulling them a few feet if you want to pull them under a sun roof or some such works fine.

Works great for container gardening.
Love the look of these filled with soil and flowers/bulbs sprouting up. I have a patio that needed sprucing up and bought these to pant vegies and flowers in. OK so I bought the large ones but they look awesome and really help to hold the water!
