These are the best nail clippers I have ever had. The clippers are wide enough that they can get over your nail to cut it and the actual clipping is so smooth. No torn edges or pieces of nail remaining after you cut it.They are wonderful.

These DRMODE Large angled clippers are great compared to any standard large toenail clippers. The angle does help with reach, and after some practice, the large opening also gives much room for thick nails. But as I found out, these very sharp edges are very easy to nip some skin too if not handled properly. After cutting my nails, I decided to try nipping off some of the thicker callused skin below the nail, and I got bit! Not the clippers fault, but mine.I like that they do hold some of the nails cut, but it's not a large capacity, so better to empty after each cut. I used the tin that they came in for the clippings until I was done, so that was handy too. The nail file they are packaged with is really not made for toenails, as it is so small, and also very pointy. But if you are careful, it works. But don't buy it or not buy it for that extra, buy these cutters because they work.They are not slip proof, however. The underside has a carved design, but it is still metal, so it can slip if your hands are dry, or damp even. Save the lotion for afterwards! A silicone rubber insert would be better, and it wouldn't hurt to have made these wider to help with grip too.Though they cut so easily, you don't need a lot of pressure or finger strength, but you do need a little dexterity, so you can wield the sharp edges without cutting yourself. They are a good tool to have for thick toenails, even if you won't be doing it yourself, but you need to instruct your caregiver to use them slowly and carefully too! Good clippers! Now my socks go on without snagging, and my nails look like they were done professionally. All except for the band aid(s) on my big toe!

Sharp and work great on thick nails. Easy to use and should be good for users with arthritis. I have horribly thick nails and when I felt how loose they were it worried me a bit because the last pair I had utilized a very strong spring. These work just as good if not better. I’m impressed for once.

I've had this clipper for I believe about a year and it works absolutely great on my fingers and my toenails. it's very very well made. I'm going to probably buy another one just in case I miss place it.

Big upgrade from the classic style clippers I've used for years. These do the job so much better! They are very sharp- cut fast and clean. Now I know just how dull and inefficient my old clippers were.

The design is easy to grip and handle. Much easier to use when clipping toenails without having to bend so far over like I had to do with straight traditional clippers. Also kept clippings from flying all over the place. Very sharp.

My toe nails were damaged by steel toe capped boots a few years ago and due to thickness become more and more difficult to cut with normal clippers. These have a wide opening and are very sharp, in ten minutes they have cut of all the difficult thickness, fantastic and saved an expensive trip to a chiropodist. A word of caution, be careful not to cut too far down the toenail, work in stages as they are extremely sharp, to ensure you don't cut too much off and possibly cut yourself. Feels so good to have got ingrowing and thick toenails sorted out, they are well made, very sturdy and come with a file. The spring has to be flipped over to the front to operate.
