Punch PBR400X4D Compact Chassis 400-Watt Full-Range 4-Channel Amplifier

I had the same amp on my last street glide. Loved it so much I bought the same one for my new bike. Easy install and very user friendly for people like me who don't have a doctorate in audio engineering. Paired with some Rockford Fosgate 6.5s. Very powerful and great/clear sound at any speed.

I purchased this amp because I was adding a subwoofer to my boat. I have a Fusion UD-750 with 2 Fusion speakers and have now added a 10" Fusion subwoofer. I decided on this amp for the job, and I'm so glad I did! It fits in tight spaces and literally packs HUGE sound! I highly recommend this to anyone who is challenged with space and doesn't want to sacrifice sound or power.

I used this to replace the crappy Harman Kardon amp on my 2012 Street Glide. Super easy install if you’ve ever had experience installing an amp. I’m using the high pass filter to run 4 speakers and it produces a ton of sound with very little use on the gain. Plenty of power left to upgrade to better speakers.

Bought this amp plus 8” sub and two 3.5 coax punch speakers to upgrade an old monster speaker. If in doubt recommend calling RF tech support before purchasing as I almost chose the wrong ohm sub. Had a tech on line in 1 minute and was super friendly and helpful. I’ve been out of the stereo world for 20 years and a lot of things have changed. Instructions on all components were lacking imo and assumed things I had to look up. More details could probably cut call volume and mistakes in half. Amp seems sensitive to electrical noise so I’ll have to get a different media receiver, filter, shielded wire, or all. Setting input/output clip gains didn’t make much sense to me and found myself tinkering afterwards. Oh the CD mentioned is no longer included so you must download RF Connect app to get the test tones. Going from 65w stock to 300w RF speakers it hits 10 times harder. Gain is not even halfway for 300w on 400 w amp. Not hot but is warm to the touch after 10-15 minutes of hard music. May end up with cooling fan for final cover. Powering with 10ah lifepo4 battery but still need to verify power draw and likely supplement with larger charger and maybe a capacitor for long term use. Still have a ways to go to tune for quality sound but I am cramming something in a box that’s not supposed to be there. But the amp is silly small if you need something compact as I did. You do seem to be sacrificing some features for size compared to similar power sized amps.

I have been a fosgate guy for years . Super suprised with the power of this little amp and it is small enough to go anywhere . I use it on my 2015 dyna powering 2 full rage 6 inch fosgate speakers . Works perfectly

My music used to drown out at 40 mph on my Harley. I have the Rockford Fosgate head unit, 4- 5.25" speakers and 2- 6x9 speakers. The install was clean and easy. The amp size was perfect. My music is now louder and more clear than ever. The input and output clip settings are in the amp. I did not have to buy a sine wave meter. I just cannot believe the sound!! Crisp throughout the highs, mids, and lowers. Definitely can hear it on the interstate now. Thank you Rockford Fosgate for another great product!!

Installed this in a 2012 Harley Ultra, and paired with Harley stock radio (25w/channel), Hogtunes 2 ohm 6.5 front speakers (had to modify 5.25 mounts in batwing for them to fit), and 4 ohm 6x9 Polks in the saddle bag lids. I was amazed at the distortionless volume increase! Can hear the system clearly at highway speeds. The set up was straight forward but I didn’t receive the test tone cd needed to set the gains. There are multiple websites with free test tones that you can download to your smart phone or cd (in my case) or just set up with music from your radio. Also, the “auto-on” feature that was supposed to work with line-out setups with the radio didn’t, so I had to connect the “REM” input on the amp to a 12v source (cigarette lighter in my case), to get the amp to power up. Not a big deal, but just an extra step. Only have used this for about a month, so not sure of long term reliability but so far, it’s great!

Very impressed, bridged this to a set of 6x9 components in a miata. Together with a compact sub this go cart of a car ROCKS. I definitely recommend it

Man so stoked about this amp, put it in did the set up and adjustments, no longer need the volume dial at max, now it’s up to 25 and I can’t hear my Harley anymore, PERFECT!!!!!!

J’ai acheté ce produit pour constater que le filage pour les entrées et sorties était inclus mais les fils les plus importants qui sont pour l’alimentation et mise à la masse n’y sont pas et ceux-ci prennent jusqu’à 14 jours à recevoir. Il serait important de le mentionner dans la description il me semble car le branchement utilise des terminaux non standards.
