New Power Steering Pump Replacement for 2002-2011 Honda CRV Accord/Acura TSX 2.4L 02-06 Acura RSX 2.0L Engine 21-5419

The pump was decent, but you’ll need to purchase a 14mm x 1.5mm o-ring to re-attach the high pressure line (they should have provided one). The new pump’s low pressure fitting was mounted differently (as mentioned by others), but it’s easy to remove it and just reuse your old fitting with the new o-ring. Make sure you clean out your reservoir and use only Honda power steering fluid. Only takes about one bottle to fill it. After you add the fluid, raise the front end of the car up and turn the steering wheel from left to right about 10 times. That will help with getting the air bubbles out. Then, start the car and do the same left to right turns. Check your fluid and add to the middle of the lines, and you should be good. No noise, whines, or issues. Test drive the vehicle and check for leaks. Pump seems to work well.

this item is not good at all seriously so noisy I could not believed , had to throw it away and buy a new one. It was the bad one between my ac compressor clutch, alternator pulley, my serpentine belt please do not buy it for your crv might work for acura . I hate giving bad review and it is the first time I do and hope this is the first and the last time. But this is -ZZZ

After being skeptical due to reading mixed reviews, finally decided to purchase. The pump was very easy to install and I did not have to make any changes or modify anything on the pump. It’s been installed for 5 months now and still works perfectly and has 0 leaks!

Used on my '07 Honda CRV. Went on pretty easy, had to use the hose connector from my old pump so the hose would connect properly. Not a problem though. Tried using the o-ring that was from the new one but it didn't work. Luckily I had bought the proper o-ring from the dealership ~$1 and it worked just fine. It is a little noisy below 3k rpm and under 30 mph. After that the road noise and age of the car drown it after that ;)

So far so good. The noise issue of my 2005 Honda CR-V LX is gone. Happy camper :) I have to let everyone know that after installing, you need to jack-up your car and open the power steering reservoir. Start the engine and let it run. You need to turn the wheel, end to end 10 to 12 times back and forth in order to push-out the air inside the new power steering pump or inside the hose line. If you do this properly, you won't have any noise issue right after.. And make sure by adding power steering fluid to the upper level of the reservoir. And you don't really need to change the fluid, unless it's dirty. Hope my review will help everyone the proper way to install a power steering pump.

This is a poorly manufactured pump. Installed in July and quit working today in December. DO NOT BUY!!!! I read a few reviews that said it worked fine and others that didn’t. Now I’m one of the ones that got a bad pump which lasted only 5 months. I’m so very disappointed with this purchase. Be ware or buy elsewhere. Never using this seller or brand ever again. In this bad economy just save your hard earned money and make a wiser choice - don’t buy this junk.

So far so good. Definitely fits. Have been driving around with it in my 09 Crv. No noise and very smooth steering. I recommend using Honda power steering fluid or store brand made for Honda, seems to make steering much easier.

Pump fit my 2006 TSX without any noticeable issueS. Installation was pretty easy. I’ve been riding for about 3 weeks now and everything has been running smoothly!
