Will this work on finishing nails? Looking to remove 8d nails from old hardwood flooring. Hardly any head.

I'm afraid it won't work. This nail pulling tool is to jam the nail head and pull the nail out. Must have a head.

Will this work for pulling trim nails out the back side of boards?

Anyone have feedback on how these tools work for ring shank or the twist spiral nails in oak pallets?

My husband says it should work. He's shot out 6 penny nails out of oak pallet and ring shank out of pine. The tool has a lot of power. He thinks it could potentially leave an indentation in the wood, but reducing the pressure at the compressor may help.
