CRYSTAL Deodorant Mineral Deodorant Stick, Travel, 1.5 Ounce

This is a travel-size deODORant, not an antiperspirant. People, read before you buy something. If you want to be healthy and live longer, let your body do its natural thing. If you want to stop sweat, this is not for you. Sweat doesn’t stain clothes, the antiperspirant you sweat off does. With that being said, this doesn’t drain your clothing. With ladies having more skin in the front private area, I was smelling for no reason down there midday. I don’t know what was up and neither did the doc. I’m 29 and it just started happening. Figure it’s my hormones. Either way, I had my husband do a smell test after using this, and it was as if he had Covid or something because he couldn’t smell any funk on my nether regions. My underarms were stink-free too. To use: Only works on CLEAN skin. Not dirty skin. Use it after a shower a bath please, or it won’t work. Wet the crystal a little and rub it on the usual stinky areas. I wet mine a few times if I wasn’t done. Let the crystal air dry before you put the cap on (only takes about 30 seconds to a minute). Safe to rub everywhere on your body because it’s a natural mineral. Don’t put anything inside of any holes, but it is safe for butt cracks and everywhere outside of the uterus (vag). Works for men, too. This is not sticky, does not stain clothing, and is safe for sensitive skin. I have very sensitive skin. I can’t even wear a lot of makeup, perfumes, or use many well-known body washes. I’ll break out. My body told me when I was younger to stay away from harmful products with artificial and toxic ingredients, so take it from me and all the other reviewers. Less is best! :)

If I could give this 10 stars I would! This thing really freaking works! I’m allergic to fragrance, so my options for deodorant are extremely limited. I saw this and decided to give it a try, but to be honest I was really skeptical. I mean, rubbing a crystal on my arm pit is gonna keep me from getting stinky?! I was so surprised by how well this thing does its job! I do a lot of camping and trips and such that sometimes I’m not able to shower every day. So before I leave I’ll take a shower and put this on. Holy moly! After 4 or 5 days of no showers I don’t have any odor at all! I’ve always struggled with the limited options of deodorants, none of them ever actually work to prevent body odor. But this thing?! It’s a miracle in the shape of a crystal! If you’re on the fence about it, stop thinking and add this bad boy to your cart!

I bought this hesitantly (not a believer), but wanted to avoid hassles during airport travel. Well-- I am a convert now! This worked so well. It was easy to use ( better with damp skin, but if you miss that window, just wet the top of the crystal), it caused no irritation at all and most importantly it worked! I will not go back to traditional deodorant/antiperspirants. It lasts, so for me, a good value. (I will admit that I dropped it once, and got a small chip, but oh well.....) It still worked perfectly!

Update: It actually better now that I’ve gotten old mildew/odor out of my work shirts in the armpits, which was an underlying problem making me think it was new odors. I’ve worn the stick now for a solid 6+ months ONLY without any spray after sweating. I only end up with a bit of odor after sweating for hours about 20% of the time, and it’s very mild, even if my pits are soaked. So in the end, it works a bit better than I thought before, especially if you wear natural fabrics or at the very least, make sure you get old mildew/body odor smells out of your shirts/jackets and do good maintenance on your laundry (sometimes I spray a little stain remover in the pits before washing if there’s ANY hint of odor). Seems to have been the trick for me. Heavy workouts and extremely high heat make body odor a bit more likely, but as I said, even so, it’s mild. So not perfect, but decent. Old: I was very suspicious that so many people rated this rock so well, so I tested it out, looking for more natural alternatives when my homemade paste experiment failed. The first week I used this, I did not swipe the wet crystal under each armpit very long and it didn’t work initially. I may have needed more swipes, and wetting the end, swiped for a solid 30 seconds per armpit until it was dry. The second time, it was more effective. I used it daily for several months, but in conjunction with an essential oil/grain alcohol spray after I would sweat a fair amount and that seemed to do the trick. I do occasionally use it alone, and it works reasonably well on its own. Initially, sweat is completely odorless. But keep sweating for 3 hours straight, and it won’t hold up as well. I work in a profession where I sweat ongoing out of a small amount of physiological arousal/anxiety due to presentations, and after the work day is done, I’ve sweated off whatever barrier was there, hence why I use a deoderant spray after sweating for awhile if I am on the job. I am very skeptical of the folks who say it lasts 24 hours. They must not be sweating ongoing. When it’s cold out and I’m not working, the stick is adequate protection from body odor. But come high pressure situations, exercise, heat, etc., or if you sweat more due to perimenopause, this isn’t the miracle deoderant that it’s made out to be. You will still smell a little if you sweat a lot throughout the day. If you never sweat, this would work perfectly. I should not my crystal broke after using regularly, and I doused it with a lot of water when I’d swipe, and over time, the stick started shrinking. I eventually accidentally broke it, but it was already slipping around in the plastic holder from getting smaller. I bought a new one that you can see in the photos for comparison. Don’t douse the stock with water all over—just a little water on the top will do and perhaps prevent the shrinking around the plastic holder. My skin gets a bit itchy/dry from it during dryer seasons, but I don’t get rashes. If you shave your armpits, though, it stings just a little right afterward. It is somewhat effective. When I’m not working, it’s sometimes sufficient protection for the day of if I don’t sweat too much. Other days, I have to give my pits a spray 3-4 hours after applying the stick if I sweat a lot. It’s okay, in sum. Not a perfect solution or miracle, though.

This does work once you figure out how much you have to put on. I apply the deodorant after my shower. I wet the Crystal briefly under the faucet before applying. In the height of summer on Long Island here, I have to apply 150, yes you read that right, 150 swipes of this deodorant under each arm to achieve 24 hour odor control. I’m not a big sweater so I can’t rate on the sweat control, but I do develop odor a couple hours after my shower if I don’t use deodorant. In the less warm month, I can get away with using less and I usually in the winter time it’s about 20 to 30 swipes under each arm. I like that it does dry completely dry and it does not have a scent. UPDATE 09/25/2025: I have read another person’s review about this product and tried their advice. The advice provided was to apply this deodorant like you normally would to the center of your armpit then, swipe some around the outer armpit area. What I ended up doing was swiping 5 times at the center of each armpit then swiping in a circular motion around the entire armpit area in a spiral motion to about 4 inches outward. After 24 hours, I’m happy to say that it works! No odor! It was an average of 75F and 70% humidity during that time period. So happy I read the other reviews and learned something! This is such a better method than hanging out swiping each under arm 100 times which was very tedious. Reminder that this is NOT an antiperspirant. You MUST apply to freshly bathed clean skin. You MUST apply a splash of water before applying. If you are a heavy sweater and want to control it, this product is not for you. If you are a light sweater and just concerned about body odor, I could not recommend this enough. Bonus and that it does not leave any residue on your clothing. 💯

Size is good for travel and no odor at all and I like that it is aluminum free. But absolutely impossible to tell if it is being applied. It is a hard consistency. I am surprised at all the good reviews unless something happens to be wrong with the one that I got- I’m tossing it.

Best product I used. I used spray of other famous brand before, but it cause itchy. This one is perfect! Works even 48 hrs, feels great

The deodorant effectively controls odor, is stain and residue free, and easy to apply. My only complaint is that the crystal loosens in its case over time. Now, each time I apply, I can feel it is not securely attached, and suspect it will detach in the near future. For reference, I store the crystal upside down to keep water from pooling at the attachment point and eroding the crystal, and this is still an issue.

When I first bought this, I didn't realize that it was a solid crystal so when i tried to use it nothing was coming out. However, when I read the instructions it said to wet it and then use it. I have a spray bottle I keep next to the deodorant so I give it a few sprays and then apply liberally all over my armpit and IT WORKS AMAZINGLY. I was genuinely not expecting it to work this well. It really has no scent whatsoever and my armpits have no odor at all! So I definitely recommend using this deodorant, definitely not going to be my last time using it And I feel like because you spray it and then use it, it will last a long time which is also a plus ***UPDATE *** After using it for a few months, I noticed that my armpits became slightly irritated, red, dry and itchy I was only using this product on my armpits when that started happening, and as I kept using it, the redness and itchiness remained Last month I stopped using it completely and the irritation and itchiness has gone away completely So just keep that in mind when youre considering buying this product

Em uma palavra: funciona! O cristal não tem cheiro. Aplique com as axilas molhadas ou molhe bem o cristal antes de deslizar ele nas axilas. Aplique o cristal molhado em TODA a extensão das axilas, e não apenas onde tem pelos. Aplique o cristal molhado tbm nas áreas adjacentes da axila aonde o suor pode "escorrer". Lembrando que as partículas de cristal precisam entrar em contato com o suor para que façam o efeito de anular o cheiro. Exato: você continua transpirando, mas o suor não tem cheiro. O cristal não é antitranspirante; as partículas de cristal reagem com o suor fazendo com que as moléculas de odor não seja liberadas. Eu amo esse produto. Compraria novamente.

Works excellently for sensitive skin. I’ve had no bad reactions at all and the protection lasts all day. Unfortunately due to the nature of the thing, if you don’t dry it properly after use then the Crystal soon falls out of its holder. That doesn’t render it unusable but it does make it a little awkward to use as you have to hold the bare Crystal when applying. Update: decided to upgrade my review to 5 stars based purely on value. I’ve been using the same crystal for almost 2 years! Still a bit left to go. Still working perfectly with absolutely no irritation and great odour protection! What a find this was!
