Excellent.
Brilliant. Quality is wonderful and it's portable. It's an excellent gift to anyone, but very more so for kids to get them off the sofa and interested in something more than games. My nephew is absolutely fascinated with it.

Decent quality microscope
This isn't your everyday microscope—it's more substantial and intricate than the pocket microscope I experimented with not too long ago, yet it's still a far cry from the high-end professional ones you'd find in a laboratory. The design is robust, with a black finish that gives it a professional look. Holding it in my hands, it felt like a well-constructed tool, not just a child's toy. It's quite the powerhouse for its size, capable of magnifying up to 1000 times. While it's not going to reveal the secrets of the microscopic world in extreme detail, it's more than adequate for amateur scientists or the simply curious, like me.The addition of a 2" IPS colour screen was a thoughtful touch. While the resolution isn't going to win any awards, it's perfectly sufficient for viewing specimens and marvelling at the details that are not visible to the naked eye. It's incredibly user-friendly, too. The ability to take pictures and videos, and then download them to a PC or Mac, opens up a realm of possibilities for educational purposes or simply for documenting and sharing discoveries. The microscope came with a 32G SD card, which was quite generous and convenient for storage. It's billed as suitable for both kids and adults, and I have to agree. The stand included in the package helps with stability during use, which is essential when you're trying to focus on something at such a high magnification.I've taken it out on a few exploratory trips, examining everything from plant leaves to textile weaves, and each time I've found something new and fascinating. This microscope has turned out to be a delightful companion for indoor and outdoor adventures alike.

The device is suitable for use indoors and outdoors, and it is perfect for both kids and adults who are interested in exploring the world of microscopy. The quality of the microscope is good, and the attention to detail is impressive. Overall, the Handheld Digital Microscope D-MS1 with 2" IPS Screen is an excellent investment for anyone looking to explore the microscopic world in a more detailed and comprehensive manner.

This really does come with everything you need to have fun, including an SD card. The images are best viewed via an attached laptop. You can remove the microscope completely from it's stand and take pictures in the garden. It's great for getting kids interested in nature.

Not as advertised, but fun.
I am leaving a three star review for this as it's just not 1000x Zoom, not even close. It's more like 5x if you are lucky. At least what I can get out of it, and looking at other peoples review pictures, they are getting the same results.1000x means exactly that, it means it magnifies 1000/1, this is a ridiculous claim. If they had just sold this as a kids microscope and said 10x zoom, I would have given it 5 stars and recommended it with enthusiasm, as it really is a great little toy, and that is what it is.It's not for any serious use, that 1000x would be.The screen is nice and clear, the batteries seem to last well, if you charge it after 10 uses I am sure it would never run out of power. I couldnt seem to get it to go flat yet, after hours of use.The included MicroSD card is a welcome bonus and is used to save your images. It's fairly well made, the plastics are thick enough that it's not going to break and crack in normal use, even outdoors.I would also have preferred to have seen a rechargeable base, rather than it needing batteries. The price is also at the higher end, for similar money you can get much better performing scopes.I really wanted to like this, but sadly it's just not what it's claimed to be.

Zooming Into the Unseen: Microscopic Adventures Await!
Imagine having a microscope that fits in your pocket but packs a punch with 1000x magnification. The Handheld Digital Microscope D-MS1 goes beyond your run-of-the-mill gadget; it's a ticket to explore the hidden wonders of our world. From checking out the intricate details of coins, jewels, and stamps to examining circuit boards or even getting up close and personal with tiny insects, this microscope unleashes a whole new world of exploration. This device helps me dive headfirst into the microcosm.I’m a strangely curious sort and love to deep dive into things. I got this to look at everything from crystals and gemstones (the photo I posted is of an auralite crystal close up) to foliage and flowers, coins to chemicals and beyond. More than magnification; this cool gadget doubles as a camera (still AND video!), too. Picture this – capturing stunning videos in 1080P resolution and snapping detailed 2MP photos, all thanks to its integrated camera function. The generous inclusion of a 32G Micro SD card ensures you won't miss a single microscopic moment. Granted, it’s not a professional level tool but nor is it just a kid’s toy.Another great feature is where portability meets power. With its compact size and a built-in rechargeable 800mAh lithium battery, it's a passport to outdoor adventures. No more being tied down by wires or bulky equipment. I live in Florida and this microscope empowers me to explore anytime, anywhere – from my backyard to the beach. And here's the kicker – it's not just limited to its handheld use. Connect it to your PC or Mac, download the software, and voila! You've got a whole new perspective waiting for you on the big screen. It's like transforming my computer into a window to a tiny universe. What's in the box, you ask? Alongside the handheld microscope is the Micro SD card, USB cable, tweezers (because why not?), and a user manual. Plus, the confidence of 24/7 service to cater to any support needs. In a nutshell, the Handheld Digital Microscope D-MS1 is an adventure waiting to happen. With its versatility, portability, and sheer magnifying power, it's the key to unlocking the hidden treasures of the microscopic realm for the whole family.

Very nice digital microscope
This is a very nice digital microscope. It comes with the handheld microscope, stand, batteries, USB-C cable to connect to a PC / laptop, 32GB card, and different holders for items you want to get a closer look at. The batteries go into the base of the stand along were the card slot is. There is a light that shine upwards from the base which can be turned off and is dimmable. There is another light that shines down from the microscope. The image quality is very nice. It is made of plastic, so I would not recommend dropping it on the floor, but as long as that doesn't happen, it is a high quality device that is fun to use.
