Microwave Rice Cooker Steamer and Pasta Cooker with Strainer - Mess-Free Design, Dishwasher Safe, Cooks Up to 8 Cups

Looking to create rice and pasta just for me since I joined Slimming World, this has been a wonderful microwave cook pot. The size is just right for small quantities and for fridge batches. It's pretty sturdy plastic and I really like the design. I have a measly 650W microwave but it fits fine. To be honest I have used it non-stop several times a day since I got it. It has not bubbled over for me. The results are consistent every time for rice and pasta and its easy to clean. I love the little measuring jug that measures both in ml and cups. The spoon in the lid is well designed. The integral colander is pretty nifty. So pleased with this pot. Has saved me loads of time and stopped a lot of food waste. Excellent thing!!!

This does a fairly nice job as a rice cooker. The capacity is generous and and even on quite large loads has not boiled over (though I take their advice and add a little oil to help with that). I have made a mountain of lovely fluffy rice in this without issue. I have had less success using it on pasta so far; I don't think their guidelines are right for my microwave or my pasta. The one negative I will raise is that the inside basket is quite difficult to dispense from directly; the handle does not lend itself to allowing it to be tipped to disgorge its contents. I have to grip the basket in a tablecloth and then dispense from it that way. The handle is only really effective for removing the basket from the outer vessel.

But I love it for rice, simple and mess free not tried it with pasta yet.I would definitely get one with instruction, you could work it all out yourself but why bother!!??

I have one of these and ordered another as a present, I’ve returned it because it was missing the leaflet manual. This is a great product with perfect results, depending on type of rice/pasta, you need to know exact quantities including water and timings for the portions you want to cook. Which is why you need the manual. Very annoying.

Simply superb

Absolutely brilliant time saver. No hob or pot to use . Simply measure put in microwave and it makes the fluffiest rice ever . I would highly recommend this rice cooker. There are cheaper versions. But the instructions booklet that this comes with is so accurate. Brilliant microwave rice cooker worth every penny. You will not be disappointed if you follow the simple instructions.
