Organic Aged Earl Grey Tea, 1lb Black Loose Leaf with Real Bergamot

Have been ordering this brand and this type of tea leaves for years. I make cold brew and have served it to my guest who love its aroma and flavor.

The tea looks great and smells great! However, after brewed the bergamot flavor is hidden. It tastes mostly like black tea with a hint of bergamot. I've only had two cups and have tried it stronger and then followed the directions with 12oz of water. I'm a little disappointed. I will still drink it but may try to spice it up a bit. UPDATE: After consuming for a couple weeks the bergamot is definitely there! It tastes better than other earl greys I've tried. I really like it now. I will more than likely be purchasing again. I've brewed this tea along with other organic earl greys and did a taste test of each one, I now prefer this one!

I'm no tea connoisseur but like a nice tea in the morning. A good quality can be expensive, particularly if you buy at a store, so I was pleased to find the Numi Teas. They are not perfect but are still very good, with maybe a bit too many small particles. But for the amount you receive and the general flavor, it's worth it. I bought a bag months ago, and drink tea almost daily, and still have plenty to last me. I suggest getting large glass jars with the sealable lids and rubber gaskets to keep them in. It keeps it fresher than just in the bag and makes a wonderful display!

This tea successfully replaced my 1-2 pot a day coffee habit. The bergamot is perfectly balanced - not too floral, not too subtle. Smooth and flavorful enough that I don't miss coffee at all. A bit of agave is nice, but isn't needed. Very earthy, bright and delicious on it's own! Numi's quality is consistent and the organic aspect is a nice bonus. This has become my daily go-to and I buy it in bulk now. If you're trying to switch from coffee to tea, this is the one that'll actually stick.

The tea is consistently delicious and comes loose leaf so it's easy to portion to how much you want to make. I continue to buy from Numi not just because of the tea quality and reasonable pricing, but also because they are certified organic, fair trade, and a certified B Corporation. Can't get any better than that. As a casual tea drinker a bag last me roughly 3-4 months. I'll continue coming back to purchase this tea.

We switched from tea bags of the same brand to this and I can say that the quality and freshness of the product is phenomenal. as soon as you open the bag you get hit with the scent of bergamot which is very refreshing. once the tea is infused you can taste the flavour and freshness of the tea. Definitely a home staple now as we are reordering all the time

1. The shipping was fast. 2 days from Richmond BC to GTA. A+ 2. The aroma that wafted out of the sealed bag when I opened it was simply delightful. So fresh and subtle. If they made a eau de parfum in this scent, I'd wear it all day long. ;-) 3. The taste after a 3-4 minute steep was just outstanding. Redolent and yet subtle. The oil from the orange peels gets right into the aged leaf, resulting in an overall flavour that is fresh and bright, and not a hint of bitterness. Kudos to the blender! A masterpiece. Don't even think about it, for thirty dollars it's an unbelievable value.

This has good quality and taste and the price is fair compared to other expensive ones. Definitely try it and I advise this to my friends.
