Have nothing to compare it with, pops up as it should, a lot of digging required to about a foot deep. I am happy with it although I'd say the spread will depend on your water pressure and I wouldn't personally put the frost valve in again as it dumps all the water in the pipes out every time, so if you have a long pipe that's a lot of water, really how likely is it going to be affected by frost in the uk buried a foot deep, I not convinced its necessary. Also the automatic connectors for me are not fool proof, you need the pipe to be perfectly straight going into the connector or it will leak. Overall Id say if installed correctly and tested before being covered over you'll be happy with this. Id like to experience a different set up so I could compare.

I only received part of the kit. I contacted Gardena customer service, and it's now been nearly a week since they've given me any solution even though I've emailed them now 3 times and still no luck of getting anywhere, really disappointing

The drain valve does not work as it needs a lot of pressure to keep it shut. The pipe is much bigger than a usual U.K. pipe, that being said you do get all the fittings needed, but with a much bigger pipe you simple don’t have the required water pressure. The sprinkler does just that, it sprinklers a few feet as the drain valve simply won’t stay shut. I spoke to Gardena support and they said I needed to buy a pump. Have opted for a U.K. brand with standard U.K. size hose and it’s working a treat. I don’t have low water pressure but this system is simply not designed for U.K. water pressure. You can’t fit smaller hose as the fittings won’t allow this. Great product and I love it if only it worked for me. I love Gardena products normally as they are high quality and do the job, sadly this one let me down.

The item arrived with a box that had clearly been opened and taped back together. I checked all the parts were there comparing to the parts list on the box and everything appeared to be there with all the fittings in a sealed bag. After a few hours installing it, I turned it on and got a very low pressure spray probably reaching about a meter either side whereas I need 5 meters either side. Then I noticed the leak from where the hose pipe connects to the system. I dug it back up and turned it on again and it looked like the leak was within this plastic component not from the pipe connection. I disconnected the hose and immediately saw that there was no rubber O-ring on the fitting. I have some O-rings and tried several of them but none fit very well. Obviously this was opened, the O-ring stolen and the box taped back up.

Hallo zusammen wir haben das Bewässerungssystem von Garden nun seit ca. 2 Jahren im Einsatz und sind damit sehr zufrieden. Bis dato haben wir nach 2 Sommer / Winterperioden keine Undichtheit entdecken können und die Zuverlässigkeit ist wie an Tag 1. Anlagenbeschreibung: - OS140, T380, T200 und T100 Regnern - Gardena Verlegerohr 2701-20 - Gardena Comfort Bewässerungssteuerung 4040 - GARDENA 1278-20 Bewässerungsventile 24 V - Gardena 1255-20 Ventilbox V3 (ohne Ventil) - GARDENA 1277-20 Comfort Erweiterungsmodul 2040 - Gardena 1189-20 Regensensor electronic - diverse Kleinteile, Kabel, Verbindungsstücke und Entwässerungsventile Funktion / Montage: Es wird eine Anschlussdose nahe eines Wasserhahns gesetzt von welcher es dann zum Verteiler (Gardena 1255-20 Ventilbox V3 (ohne Ventil) ) geht. In diesem Verteiler wurden zuvor die Ventile (GARDENA 1278-20 Bewässerungsventil 24 V) eingebaut. Von hier aus abgehend wird nun der Garten entsprechend der Planung verrohrt und alle Stellen wie Beete, Rasenflächen, weitere Wasserentnahmestellen oder ein Tröpfelsystem an das System angeschlossen. Der zusätzliche Vorteil der Ventilbox ist, dass eine Entwässerung des Wasserkreislaufes im Herbst sehr einfach durch aufdrehen einer einzigen Mutter vorgenommen werden kann. Die Verrohrung ist einfach zu montieren. Zu beachten gilt, dass des Rohr gerade abgeschnitten wird und beim Einschieben in die Anschlussstücke ist es wichtig nach dem ersten Widerstand nochmal kräftig nachzudrücken um die Endposition in den Anschlüssen / Verbindern zu erreichen. Nach dem „Einrasten“ einfach die Verschlüsse drehen. Nun sollte die Verbindung dicht sein und kann bei Bedarf später wieder sehr schnell und einfach gelöst werden. Sobald man nun mit der Steuerung (GARDENA 1276-20 Comfort Bewässerungssteuerung 4040 modular) oder einer ähnlichen Ansteuerung die Ventile schält werden die Versenkregner mit Wasser versorgt und starten die Wiese zu bewässern bewässert. Durch die Steuerung und dem zugehörigen Regensensor ist möglich die Bewässerung des ganzen Gartens automatisch und in Abhängigkeit von Regenperioden vorzunehmen. Fazit: Mal abgesehen von dem Graben im Garten hat das Projekt sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Das Gardena System ist rund um durchdacht und kann somit mit seiner Einfachheit punkten. Durch die tolle Steuerung müssen wir uns im Sommer um nichts mehr im Garten kümmern was das Thema bewässern angeht. Pro: + super einfach zu montieren + Erweiterbarkeit jederzeit gegeben + nach 2 Jahren (Sommer- / Winterperiode) noch kein Ausfall + Planung mit Gardena Software einfach Contra: - Preis liegt im oberen Segment -> dafür kein Ausfall bis dato - Der Deckel der Ventilbox ist sehr dünn was ein Begehen nicht unbedingt möglich. Dies bedeutet bei der Planung entsprechende Berücksichtigung Vielen Dank fürs Lesen und lasst doch bitte ein „Hilfreich“ da sollte diese Bewertung zur Entscheidung beitragen.

Works exactly as described. Installation instructions are poor, as is the information from the Gardena website. Installation is shockingly difficult, but probably worth it. Installation tip: Use a wrench to tighten the fittings.

Con 1 solo riego todo mi jardín. Mis vecinos tienen 5 y 6 aspersores para cubrir el mismo área... Muy cómodo y facil de montar. Básicamente depende de la presión del agua q dispongas.

Conforme à la description. De bonne facture, fréquent chez gardena. Mon installation manque un peu de débit, mais le produit couvre une bonne surface. le produit est installé depuis un moment et n'a jamais présenté de problème pour monter et descendre.
