Lovely. Comfy and warm.
These are rather expensive, but well worth it. Really well made. Really comfortable. You don't notice you're wearing them other than your feet being nice and toasty. I would describe them as a medium thickness. Good solid walking socks, but not your full-blown woolly sock.

Valuation with thevtie straps
I love these as lightweight wool socks. They are perfect for summer for me. The sock is comfortable and appears durable. It wicks moisture very well. Caution with the 3 ties that hold the 6 removable T's. I believe PVC, but with the light weave, the end gets attached to the wool and pulls threads. By the third pair, I was definitely frustrated with whoever came up with this design. Compress the wool at the tie, and it will extend beyond the sock and wrap. Separate the pairs and start in the middle restraint with a stout pair of scissors. You should be able to cut and release the pair. Carefully pull out the opposite T-shaped end to ensure it doesn't snag a thread. It's a light, delicate weave and will tear the threads. It is tedious compared to any I have dealt with. With the 16 pairs opened, it was the same. Overkill on the restraining ties with this material. Other than that, I am pleased with the product as an everyday summer sock.

Great socks that don't squeeze your calf. They do attract stuff. I always find fuzz on them from around the house. I would buy again.
