After initially being sent an item the was defected, it was quickly resolved by Amazon replacing. Looks good and works great.

Two of these broke within months of fitting

A complex waste of money!!! After buying 2 for £350 and paying an electrician £220 to install them, they DON’T work as I only have 4g, NOT 5g. Now I have to pay another £220 to remove & return them. DON’T BUY NETATMO WITHOUT CHECKING YOUR INTERNET SPEED!!!!!

Ok so I was an early adopter of netatmo products, and the presence cameras were once pretty good. I've had nothing but problems in recent years to the point they can no longer be relied upon. Connectivity issues are a recurrent problem. The tech can't cope with a modern network running both 5 ans 2.4Ghz and really struggles with mesh. Often a good deal of time lag. Once played nicely with Homekit - its a bit hit and miss and firmware updates are few and far between. Netatmo as a brand seems to have been neglected quite substantially since Legrand took over, support isn't great and a once active official forum seems to have been pretty much deleted. if I was buying now I would be concerned about the risk of obsolescence. The camera isn't competitive in its pricing in 2024 when it is now 10 year old tech. I'd look elsewhere.

After failing completely, Netatmo offered a replacement discount which sadly is worthless as I have no intention of repurchasing a defective product, that will require resintalling at my cost just after the warranty expires in a year. Netatmo support quoted below, following the failure of 2 cameras, both of which had replacement SD cards installed at my expense within a year, despite being deployed in a benign environment. "Thank you for your reply. One camera was installed in Dec 2021 and the other in Feb 2022. If the SD card is no longer recognized despite using a good quality SD card and making sure it is inserted correctly, as per our indications, then the SD slot is defective and the camera needs to be replaced. E' installata ormai da anni, non perde un colpo. Mai una perdita di segnale, mai un file corrotto, è stato davvero un ottimo acquisto. Considerando che è stata installata sotto la veranda della casa al mare, mi sarei aspettato problemi, invece si è rivelato un ottimo acquisto a costo più che contenuto.

Une caméra performante à laquelle j'ai ajouté une puce de mémoire. Caméra connectée wifi qui récupère et envoie les images même en cas de coupure wifi. elle est protégée de la pluie sous le porche de la maison, J'en suis très satisfaite,
