Excellent and Extensive
Excellent and Understandable material, there's a Whole Lot in there for One of a Two Volume set of the Whole Bible. The font size is not very big, but if you have your glasses on it's so worth all the extra content.

Needed more information for research paper. If I can understand the culture, traditions, etc. I can exegete the text.

Truly love this Bible background. Every morning we go to this book after our study wanting to know more of the context around what we just read. If you are looking to take your Bible studies to the next level I highly recommend this book!

the info on passages is helpful but very brief. I think the remarks need to be longer with more detail

Tremendous amount of detail
If you're looking for a great commentary, look no further! This commentary gives you a tremendous amount of detail about each of the passages in the New Testament. It is incredibly informative and very helpful. The information is much more factual than many commentaries. The author presents factual information and not a lot of opinion.

Finalmente ho tra le mani un sussidio per la lettura delle Sacre Scritture che non si allunga nelle interpretazioni fantasiose ma riporta per terra, al quel background, nel quale si muoveva Gesu'. Consiglio vivamente a tutti. L'inglese e' molto facile nella sua lettura.
