So much easier than reaching down to pick up leaves, and fun to use!
These are the best thing since sliced bread! So easy to pick up a BUNCH of leaves, then turn it sideways and drop them into a bag. (Yes, get some type of bag holder that will hold the bag open.) My mom and I got one of these at a home show decades ago, and it finally gave out, so I was glad something like this was still available.

Rake In the easy way
Best rake I have ever had. Does so many different jobs ie. rake grass, leaves and misc. Shovel dirt, pick up and move things. color is long lasting. Handle grip is perfect for my strength (83 yrs old). This is the 3rd Amazing rake I have purchased in my life time. I have given it for gifts and others rave about it.

Back saver
Like the functionality of this item, really saved me from a lot of bending and contorting to pick up leaves and debris. However it is lightweight, had to purchase another one because the first one hinge broke.

Awesome Rake for Anyone
My neighbor has the yellow one, and really liked it, so I decided to take a chance on this. We have tons of oak leaves, 4 maple trees and 2 dogwoods, so no shortage of leaves. The oak leaves are the majority, and I rake from October into March, depending on how much snow we get, the yard is never cleaned up. So it's pretty backbreaking. This rake is AWESOME, not as a rake, it's a dud, but as a pickup tool. It was a little more challenging for us to put together than expected considering that my husband is a mechanical marvel at such things, but once together it works great (I think we had it backwards). The one pictured is yellow, I received green, but I don't really care, although the yellow would be easier to spot if left out in the yard. This is my third type of pickup rake, and it's my favorite. It holds the leaves well until you can maneuver them into a basket. For anyone with an aching back (or not) and an average to ample supply of leaves, it's a godsend. Just remember, you need a regular rake to rake them up, then this does all your picking up. UPDATE: It's almost a year later and I'm still in love with this rake for picking up leaves for bagging. It has saved my back over and over. Highly recommended!

Hard to manage.
Not what I expected. Hard to manage for a small person because of the size.

what a disappointment!
I wanted to like this. It looked like a great invention... and it is. However, the hinge was a joke. In the first scoop, the two halves separated. I gave it a second try. This time, I read the instructions putting it together carefully, figuring I missed something. Nope. The hooks of the hinge fit into the catches only one way. Once reassembled, I picked up a clump of leaves and tried to hoist it into the wheelbarrow. this time, the slide handle pinched my finger as it came apart. Ok, the instructions said if you had trouble or needed information on how to put it together, go to the website, which I did. All that was there was an ad for the rake. The website gave no additional info. I found one picture while surfing around that showed the rake with a metal bar to lock the hingle of the jaws together. Wonderful idea! I searched the net in vain, thinking maybe Amazon was selling a counterfeit or an older model. No such luck. I never did find one with a better hingle. It's a shame. The tool, if it worked, would be a wonderful addition to my tool shed. As it is, I am back to using a flat snow shovel, which by the way does an ok job. I use a toy rake to hold the leaves to the shovel as I hoist the leaves. It works fairly well that way. Still, If the company would ever listen to these bad Amazon reviews, perhaps they would wise up and fix the issues before they go out of business. Other people had problems with the handle screw breaking off in the stem of the claw. They need to make that out of steel, aluminum, or at least a better grade of plastic. For almost $50 I would expect a more better product. Sad comment on this company.

Don’t judge it until you try it…
My first impression was poor because when I opened the box the corner where hinges meet was cracked. I hastily began to write a negative review solely based on observation, but not function.. I was going to return it, but decided to give it a try. After a few minutes of using it and growing accustomed to its function, I realize just how efficient and handy this tool is.. I initially thought the size was going to be too small but it’s actually perfect to scoop grab and place leaves in your trashcan or container. I would like a replacement for the cracked piece but I will say it functions fine as is . I’ may contact customer service but even with the damage it works great
