Hamstring King - Physical Therapist designed - Powerful stretch for Hamstring/Piriformis - Collapsible for gym, travel

3 days into this purchase:It does a remarkable job isolating the hamstrings from the lower back, creates a ton of leverage on the lower leg easily while countering with pressure on the hip.My legs/hamstrings have been stuck around 65-75 degrees for a number of years, with any attempts to go further stymied by ever increasing back pain. Couple that with the fact that my hamstrings pull my hips out of place, I end up with lumbar back pain regularly.With the hamstring king, I can already stretch with this device about another 10 degrees (dead reckoning) without any back pain during or after the stretch - so this seems promising.It’s very well built, collapsible — I can see taking this on work trips! And it is infinitely easier (ok that’s maybe a stretch! Pun intended!) and more comfortable to use than a strap.One con is that the pad for the hip is a little small and digs in a bit. Not a deal breaker by any means.I’ll report back with any changes or improvements!

This is an outstanding stretching aid. Hamstrings have always been one of my most difficult muscles to stretch effectively. This tool has helped immensely.With the device I can easily adjust where and how I want to focus the stretch. For example I can adjust placement of the pad on my hips/leg to control whether I want to stretch with full knee extension or to permit some flexion.It is comfortable and easy to use for longer stretch times. I can hold a stretch longer with more comfort than with other hamstring stretches I've used in the past. Build quality is very high and the device very well designed.If you do activities that would benefit from more effective hamstring stretching (for me. it's endurance trail running), this is a great product to try.

As someone who has always been terribly inflexible, it’s nice to have a tool to aid in stretching. It can be a little wobbly in the fully extended setting though

My hamstrings have always been tight but I am not an athlete so I didn't worry about them. I tried this out for 2 weeks, just about 6 minutes at night while watching tv. I was pleasantly surprised at the results. When I tried to touch the floor I was about 4 inches away. After using the hamstring king for 2 weeks I was easily touching the floor. I also found that my back wasn't as tight or prone to hurting, which I wasn't expecting. It was really easy to use and well made. Totally worth it!

I have been stretching my hamstrings with a strap for a long time. I never enjoyed the strap method, but had no real alternative. Then I learned about Hamstring King. Now I can do my stretches easier and longer with great results. I only wish I had found this sooner. It works!
