This was so easy to fit, it just took my husband a few minutes.It arrived in a bag and with the screws needed.There are 2 parts, one attaches to your door and the other to the frame. It is ideal for answering the door to check who is there.It adds an extra layer of security when you are home.Would definitely recommend

Broke within a Few weeks
I’ve had to change my original five star review when this chain lock broke after a couple of weeks. Initially, this appeared to be a good door-chain. It seemed solid and sturdy, and was quick and easy to fit. However, one day I accidentally opened the door when it was still chained shut. Instead of it preventing me, the top bolting-part of the lock snapped off the chain. Clearly it was nowhere as sturdy and strong as it appeared.
