This is a Götz product so good quality gear from a trusted manufacturer. However Amazon didn’t take care of the package and it came with the lid squashed.

My pegs had been sticking for ages and it was casusing me to take longer to tune than was practical for performing since I only use a fine tuner on my e. This loosened them up great without causing them to slip. Just bare in mind while this is designed to stop slipping after being applied it is still a lubricant, if you lubricate an already slipping peg more it's going to keep slipping. What this refers to when it says it prevents slipping is that its designed so your sticky pegs don't go to the opposite extreme and start slipping as can happen when you use regular soap. Use the right tool for the right job, if its not moving as much as it should use this, if its moving more than it should use some chalk or rosin.

Keeps the Violin in tune for longer! Recommended for younger ages while they still can't tune themselves.

I've found this to be a great product. I've used it on two vintage violins, one with slipping pegs and one with slightly stiff, occasionally sticking pegs; in both scenarios it fixed the problem, all pegs work perfectly now. I would imagine a little stick of this should last a very long time as only a tiny amount was required.

Wish I had bought some 8 months ago when I first bought violin. Makes tuning so much easier, no sticky tuning pegs. If you think you might need some because you can't make small adjustments of peg, just do it, you will be glad you did!

Used it to free the movement of violin pegs having paid £5 for an unused neglected violin. Immediately effective.

Yes, this tube is tiny, but for me, it might be a lifetime supply and I have 8 violins! It makes tuning much easier because the pegs turn more smoothly instead of turning in skips and jumps. Reminds me of a crayon, but since one purchase will last me practically forever, I won't be trying a crayon ...

Pegs on my French violin very tight. Removed string and apply and issue is fixed.

Exactement ce que je cherchait ! Cela fait 13 ans que je fais du violon, et j'ai voulu passer sur un cordier en bois pour un meilleur son, avec seulement un tendeur mi. Mais je me suis rendu compte que mes chevilles en Pernambouc se dévissaient rapidement et la précision nécessaire pour accorder mon cher violon🎻 n'était pas au rendez vous... en plus avec la forte tension de mes evah pirazzi... En tout cas ça règle tout mes problème ! 15 seconde chrono pur accorder en début de séance, et une lègère reprise au bout 1h 30, ça reste juste, précis, à en rendre inutile un cordier full tendeur (mais le mi me reste indispensable. n'hésitez vraiment pas ça simplifie la vie et celle de votre entourage (si vous faite tourner ^^), il y en a assez pour au moins 3 ans !
