Dr. Martens Vegan Blaire Fisherman Sandal

Love these sandals, they are so cute and stylish. They don’t really bend when you walk, but this is obvious by the style of the shoe, but I still find them comfortable to walk in. No pain or rubbing which I was worried about from reading other reviews. Many reviews suggest to size down and glad I did. I wear a size 9 in every shoe I have purchased in the past 20 years so I was nervous if these would fit but the size 8 fit perfectly. The middle straps were tad bit snug at first but after about a couple of minutes walking they loosened more and feel perfect now. I was worried about sizing down since I have kinda wide feet, but they fit great. These are my first Dr Martens and in my opinion they are good quality. Very happy with them.

** Updated December 10 ** While they have been put away for the season, I needed to make sure I updated. After I purchased these, they NEVER rubbed my heel or gave me blisters except once. I had been walking around downtown for an hour and it had been 90+ degrees and I was very sweaty. Otherwise, I wore these mostly everyday over the summer for work and everyday wear. They still look great. Can't wait to bust them out of the closet again. Original Review: most important note about size : everyone saying size down is absolutely correct. I am always a size 7 normally and purchased a 6. I'm still a little confused on what the 7 would have been like. The straps seem a little tight on my foot which is weird because my foot is not particularly big at all. I would say it's slender. Still a little long for being a six. Like at least an inch of toe room. Look : very cute, have been thinking about the last month but was having a hard time justifying the cost. Love platform shoes a short woman. Quality : initial impression, pretty good. Some concerns on the obvious glue on each shoe. See picture. I was worried the most about my ankles rubbing when I tried them on. After wearing them around my apartment all day, that actually hasn't been an issue. What is an issue is my baby pink toes rubbing really bad already and blistering. You may be able to see I put bandaids on. I'm going to take them camping with me over the memorial day weekend to test them out further. I really do like them I hope they live up their cost, and get "broken in" a little so my pink toes stop rubbing so bad.

Order one size smaller than your normal size!! I had to buy two pairs and gift the first one to someone because the shoes are bigger than expected. It also takes a minute to break them in and it can be painful, but once u wear them through the pain they have become the most comfortable and cute shoes I own. Totally recommend and think everyone should have a pair!

I've had these shoes for two months now, so I think I can give them an honest review. It is true that they run large, I am typically a size 7 and bought the 6 and they fit with a lot of room. The soles are incredibly comfy. However, these take significant effort to break in the straps. I filed them, wore them around the house with thick socks on, heated them up, and wore bandaids when wearing them out. I absolutely love them now but it took a while to get to the point where I cpuld wear them comfortably.

I have been wanting these for a couple of years now and no regrets on purchasing them. They are lightweight and flexible. I have Dr Martens boots so you could never go wrong with their sandals. They have arch support and are great quality material. I normally wear size 8 but after reading the reviews I sized down to 7 and they fit perfect. They look great with dresses or skirts.

I love Dr Marten brand! They do run a little big. I’m usually 8.5/9 and the size 8 fits perfect! The leather is thick and seems to be good quality. The only drawback is the ankle strap does rub a little on the inside of my ankle but I’m planning on keeping them!

They were so good but the strap broke after a month and a half! Right after my return window closed too. So disappointing.

I wanted to love these so bad but I’ve ordered multiple pairs now and they don’t fit. I ordered a 10 because that’s what I wear, they were WAY too big, so I ordered a 9… still too big, my pinky toe falls out the side, it runs me in the wrong place and slips all around. Maybe I have weird fit but they just aren’t even close to the to size. I’m sad because I love the look and feel so much! I’m scared to order an 8 and have it be too small

This is my second pair ever of DM sandals and, just like the last pair, I need to wear them about the house to break them in - but this is normal for me with shoes anyway. I can already sense that, just like my last pair, these are going to be a timeless addition to my summer wardrobe and that I'll be wearing them non-stop as soon as the weather permits. I'm really pleased with them: the look, the feel and the whole cool DM vibe. The faux leather feels just like leather and, like all DMs, feels as if it's built to last - so I recommend that if you want them for this summer you buy them in good time to soften them up and let your feet get used to them.
