Dr Mercola Vitamin B Complex for Cats & Dogs, 24g

Recommend this powder. Tablets contain all sorts of preservative nasties.

My pup has a condition which needs Vitimin B Complex and Probiotics to keep her well, the Dr Mercola products are the best on the market and I wouldn't go back to using any other name brands now.

The product is good but is advertised as 60g pack. When it arrives it is only a 24g pack and as such is poor value and could have been bought much cheaper elsewhere.

This is marvellous stuff! My cat is so full of energy and playfulness now - just as he was when younger. It is most noticeable. I cant recommend it enough.

Good ingredients as contains quinoa which has Amino acids in cats need, but cannot give to one of my cats as contains Arabic gum which is good but not for asthmatic cats as Arabic gum can be a respiratory trigger, extremely high price for such a small amount, do appreciate no very harmful additives like magnesium serate silicon dioxide Titanium dioxide in, all natural ingredients which is good

I purchased this supplement, previously known as a Dr. Mercola product and now branded as Bark and Whiskers, specifically to boost the B vitamin content in my dogs' homemade diets, particularly when they were unwell and needed a tailored nutritional approach. The Good: Performance and Efficacy Effective Nutritional Support: This product works exactly as advertised. It significantly helped me ensure my dogs received adequate B vitamins during recovery periods. The results were clear: improved energy and vitality when they needed it most. Quality Ingredients: I highly value that the B vitamins are derived from organic quinoa sprouts, offering a natural, food-based source rather than synthetics. It's easy to mix into their cooked food, and neither of my dogs had any issues with the taste or texture. One has specific dietary sensitivities and this product caused no allergy symptoms. Tailored Dosing: The powder form and included scoop allowed for precise dosing, which is essential when formulating specific diets under veterinary guidance. The Bad: Cost, Ethics, and Company Practices Unsustainable Expense: While effective, the cost of this 24g container is a significant barrier to long-term use. It makes a fantastic short-term solution but is financially difficult to sustain indefinitely. Ethical Concerns: This is a major point of contention for me. My personal health beliefs do not align with the company’s new-age spiritual philosophy. Furthermore, the way the company (formerly Dr. Mercola, now Bark and Whiskers) reportedly treated the veterinarian who formulated this specific product was appalling and demonstrated a lack of respect. I will therefore avoid purchasing Bark and Whiskers products because I do not want to support any company that treats their contributors with contempt. Misleading Packaging: The large container that arrives less than half-full is a recurring frustration, adding to the feeling of poor value for an already expensive product. Overall Opinion This has been a difficult review to write because the product itself is fantastic and delivers genuine benefits. However, I am torn about repurchasing due to the high price point and my significant reservations about the ethics and practices of Bark and Whiskers as a company. The efficacy earns the product points, but the ethical and cost issues bring the rating down to an average 3 stars. If you can overlook the company's behaviour, which I cannot, and the cost isn't an issue for you, then for a short-term boost, this product will probably meet your needs.

Sounded good but after adding only a tiny bit to their meals it caused my three dogs to have diarrhea, so a waste of money!

Disappoined in that you only get not even half a jar of powered and for the prices i find disgusting!!!!!

Although there’s no way for me to tell exactly I do you think this works for my dog and I’ve actually started sprinkling a little on my cats food also. The vet had my dog on vitamin B injections and I did that for a while and I think this is a good supplement and a good substitute for the injections because my senior dog definitely needs some support as he has Addison’s and he is now 17 years old. I have a 16-year-old cat who I also give this to and I’d like to think that it’s helping all three of my kitties. Also, it’s super easy to sprinkle on the food every day and I figure a little extra nutritional support can’t hurt. I have bought this several times now and I will keep buying it for as long as I have fur babies

The jar is not filled to the max. The jar is 2.55 ounces +|- I would sell this in capsule form instead and save the glass expense because I’m pretty sure it adds up. 0.85 Oz What a Gip!
