Better than other at home box dyes. The kit includes barrier cream and stain remover wipes which aren’t standard in others. After many years of using John Frieda foam dye, it wasn’t covering my greys anymore and a review on it led me here and I’m very appreciative. Very easy application, good grey coverage and glossy finish. I’ve used 5 boxes now in 2 shades of brown and very happy with the results. Warm without being too red toned as my hair pulls red really easily.

First time using this product and im impressed. The cream u get to apply on your skin before colouring works a treat and anything missed there is a wipe for that as well which also does the job. It was easy to apply no mess and when it comes to rinsing it off it was so much quicker for the water to run clear then a normal box hair dye. Conditioner left my hair so soft and shinny and again quicker to run clear then normal box dye. The gloves are great as well, although my hands did itch a little after using them but nothing major and lasted for a minute or 2. I got the light brown and is a bit darker then I thought but still love the colour. I dont have grey hair so can't comment on the coverage of it but it has given an even tone to my colour. Would recommend, worth the extra few quid from shop bought dye. Will use again.

Happy returning customer. My monthly staple. I have short hair so get two months out of one box. 6.5 shade is my overall go to. Sometime I used 6 but find 6.5 is best for my colouring. Have used other well known brands over the years but Josh Wood box colours are a league of their own. Highly recommend!

Seems to last a lot longer than other brands. Unfortunately the colour was not quite right for me.

I used to use this but my local supermarket stopped selling it so I started to use cheaper well known brands. My hair has gone orange and dry so was happy to see the Josh Wood dye on Amazon. Was so pleased with the result, my hair is a lovely brown shade and looks very glossy. A month later and the colour is still looking good. The only thing I would say from past experience is that the shades come out darker than expected.

Really good easy to apply and even coverage. Some reviews said that the dye came out much darker but it’s worked perfectly for me exactly as shown in the pic. Covered all of my greys too and I had plenty

I ordered the Josh Wood Colour because everyone says it's the at home hair color to get salon quality results. I thought, “Hey, this is going to be my natural, shiny hair moment.” Well… my hair did get shiny. But it also turned into the deepest, darkest shade of brown (close to a shade 4!!) Also, let’s talk about the greys. You know, the little rebels that refuse to conform. They didn’t get the memo about the coverage. Instead of being banished, they decided to show up to the party like “Hey, we’re still here!" Luckily for me, the colour faded very quickly and I was glad to get back to my usual hair salon

Don’t normally review but this left my hair soft and conditioned, smells lovely and didn’t irritate my scalp like other dyes do. Also a really nice natural colour with good grey coverage.
