Small but effective — these dampeners noticeably reduce the pingy vibration in my racket and give a muted, more comfortable feel at contact. They’re made of dense poly-silicone and sit snugly between the strings without sliding around during play. I’ve used them across different racquets and they don’t change string feel too drastically while still cutting down harsh vibrations on off-center hits. The pack of three is handy for keeping spares in your bag. If you love the loud pop sound from your strings you might not like the softer tone, but for comfort and reducing sting after long sessions they’re a win. Pros: reduces vibration, stays in place, good value for 3 pack Cons: slightly alters string sound (in a good way for most players) One-line summary: Simple, inexpensive way to protect your arm and soften string impact — recommended.

Great quality and design. These are beefy and perhaps provide too much dampening. Looks like they would be very durable and be difficult to lose. I liked the single (two string) dampener. I could likely get used to the 4 string dampener but after playing a few games I decided I wanted more feel. The 6 string dampeners made the racket feel lifeless. Vibration and noise are greatly attuned. I’m finding I like very little dampening and will likely try a different brand with a bit less rubber. Overall this is a great kit to try different levels of dampening.

Well, I never like when a product gets a 1 star review because the box was messed up or it was delivered late or something not related to the actual product. These dampeners seem durable and well made and do the job as advertised. I used the longest one on my racket, and the smallest on my girl’s racket. The middle size (4) wasn’t in the box, which is the one I really wanted to try. I suppose I could just order another one, but I wanted to compare the sizes. So, product is good and definitely mutes the “ping” on the strings, but docked one star for missing one of the pieces.

I am a 5.0 tennis player and I tried every one of the vibration dampeners made by ADV. One thing that sets these dampeners apart from others is that they are grooved so that it fits flush on the last cross string(snaps in place). By having this groove, the dampeners will not fall off the racket like others that I have tried. Once in place, they will not move until you physically take them out! Big plus! Out of the three dampeners, 2,4 and 6 string, I like the 4 the best. I get a very soft response and very good vibration absorption when I hit the ball. Putting on the dampener for the first time takes a minute, but once you do it is no problem and easy to do. Tip on putting on. The dampener has inscribed on it in the middle ADV, as long as the ADV is upright then you have put it on correctly. My racket is: The Babolat Pure Strike 16x19 98sq.in. String that I use is Volkl Cyclone 18 gauge strung at 48lbs on constant speed pull stringer. My advice to you tennis aficionados is to give them a try and maybe down the road ADV will allow you to purchase a three pack of the dampeners that you prefer as well as the three pack of 2,4 and6.

I read so many good things about this product. Even though I wasn’t excited about it, I said “wth? I’ll try it”. It is worth the hype. Sure! looks of the dampeners are neither great looking nor fun. But … why do we need dampeners for? Exactly. For performance. I bought the mix assorted pack and those things STAY. While everyone else is looking for theirs, putting them back in, etc … mine have stayed since I placed them for the first time. These dampeners are no nonsense … they do the job. Period. Absolutely great.

Its compact. Tries to fit into my edges but often comes out. More importantly this doesnt help with shock absorbance if you have elbow pain like me. I tried all 3 variations and honestly it didnt help like the one with other brand does.

UPDATE (6/7/25) I was gifted the smallest version from a friend and it worked well. Maybe my package had defective items as all of them didn’t work. The product is good but feels like some weight was added while playing, so do be mindful Packaging is nice and product is exceptionally made well with quality materials. Feel study and durable. However, I have a babolat pure strike tour and tested all styles of the dampener. Not one of them made a difference. They actually caused more vibration then without any dampener.

This tennis dampener works great! It significantly reduces racket vibration, making my shots feel smoother and more controlled. Plus, it stays in place even during intense matches.

I have finally found the dampener of my choice! This is not only because I can now realise the difference between 2, 4 (this is my personal favourite) and 6 strings but mainly because my weak, post-traumatic wrist suffers dramatically less! Finally, the design is slick and after 3 months of use playing 8-10 hours per week, dampener has never moved or fallen off the racket!

I'm using the big dampener, and it definitely does the job. Unlike the unit it replaced, it hasn't come off once in multiple sessions including the usual mis-hits. From the way it locks onto the strings, I truly can't imagine it ever will.
