I really like this! It was very simple to put together. I love it because unlike the vent car phone holders this one hangs from behind your rear view mirror. I don’t have to worry about the temperatures blowing from my vents. Don’t think about it just buy it!

Awesome product, works as described

It didn't fit well in my Tundra but it fit good in my daughter's lexus suv. If it was a few inches longer it would have been better. The clamping part makes it lean towards the windshield on some vehicles, which makes it unusable

I was searching for a replacement iPhone holder for my truck when I came across the Karmus. One of the things that really intrigued me about the rear view mirror design was the ability to both place my iPhone in a better line of sight as well as free up a cup holder. The Karmus achieved both! It is sturdy, easy to install and it holds my phone in a super stable position. Not having to look down at my phone anymore makes driving much safer and the clamp system holds the phone perfectly. There’s no wiggling, movement or stability issues at all. I’m really happy I took a chance on this design and I’m absolutely stoked with the purchase.

I bought this for my husband twice because he loved the idea of having a cell phone holder that attaches to his rear view mirror. The design was what he wanted but unfortunately the two times o bought this for him the springs in the part that holds the phone busted within a few uses. Only bought the second one because he liked the design so much and we thought we got a faulty one. It happened to the second one after a few uses & I ended up getting him the holder I have with the suction cup that adheres to the window or the dashboard and has the option to also attach to the air vent. No issues with that type since we got them. Mine has been going strong since October 2023 and his since June 2024.

Used this for a few months now. Solid metal materials and build (on the other hand, more weight put on the rear mirror stem). No shaking felt by the phone. Wish it is more flexible in shaft and the phone can tilt up a few more degrees. The biggest problem is, you have to put a lot of force down when mount the phone to trigger the clamp, which always makes me to feel that the rear mirror may be dragged off. I modified it by cutting one of springs 2mm shorter, which allowed the clamp-close trigger by a slight downward force. I am much happier now. Also I chipped off a little plastic in the back of ball-retaining ring to allow the phone tilt up a little so that the phone won't fall when loose the clamp, also have a better view angle.

I've been searching for an alternative phone holder that put the phone closer to eye level without blocking a vent, or using suction cups on the windshield (that tend to come loose). Cup holder versions, even if they still allow you to put a cup in the holder, tend to be to low, forcing you to look down from the road. This one that clips to the rearview mirror puts the phone at just the right height, doesn't excessively block your view, is easy to mount, made of rugged aluminum, and is easy to adjust. As long as your rearview mirror has a long enough post to mount this, it's a winner.

Works great! I wish I had bought it sooner instead of wasting time and money with the ones that glue on the dash.

I like how easy it is to attach BEHIND my mirror instead of attaching right on the mirror. I also find it easy to set my phone into the clamp and also easy to take it. I’m happy with this purchase.

The assembly the holds the phone is cheaply made. Im concerned it will break with regular use. Other than that it's a good purchase.
