Taste good

I LOVE mugwort so I knew I had to try a new brand. This is loose leaf mugwort, packed tight in its bag. It is surprisingly not as bitter as other mugwort teas I've tried. Normally mugwort is VERY bitter!! But this was strangely tolerable. Still bitter, but not as sharp and biting as I've had in the past. So if you've been scared of mugwort's intense flavor, give this one a try and maybe you won't be so put off.

I drink this at night, and it helps me sleep. It's bitter so I have my adult daughter spruce it up. I read the warning label on the package, and while the warnings don't apply to me, I think they should be in the ad. This tea has so many benefits, if you can get past the taste or spruce it up with add-ins, I highly recommend this tea.

Don't like the taste

This isnt the best tasting tea, but the benefits outweigh the taste. It can be used as a natural remedy for quite a few health obstacles. If you know, you know!

The directions call for 0.5g to 1g of tea and my diffuser would hold about 1g so that's what I used. The tea is a little bit lighter in aroma than I expected - closer to a green tea. The flavor, however, is much more pronounced. After steeping for about 5min, I removed the diffuser, and gave it a taste. To me, it was a mix of something like an English Breakfast (nutty, slightly bitter) and Chamomile. The mint flavors are soothing and linger long after the bitter front-end notes. I made one cup with this tea and enjoyed it but will add a touch of honey to the next and see if it improves the overall flavor a bit. Because of the Chamomile notes, I would think this would be great for an evening routine before bed or just to unwind from the day. Depending on the amount chosen to make each cup, there might be approximately 25-30 servings in this bag. Enjoy.

No problems

This tea takes a lot of getting used to if you have never drank mugwort tea before. I love herbal tea, but this was the first time I have ever tried mugwort. It has a very bitter taste, that is kind of hard to describe. It is almost like a blend of fresh oregano, thyme and pithy unripened citrus zest at the same time. Even though the flavor takes a little getting used to, this is definitely good quality tea though with a very fresh taste. It brews up quickly, and made a nice strong cup with only a little bit of tea. Mugwort is supposed to have a nice calming effect, so I decided to try it right before bed the first time in case it made me sleepy. Well, it did not make me sleepy or even a little drowsy, but it did have a fabulous calming effect. I noticed that I felt a little less crabby, and more relaxed. So the next time I had a cup in the afternoon. I got the same results, no drowsiness at all but I did feel more relaxed and lighthearted. So, I am very happy with the quality and results of this tea.

Interesting taste on its own with a unique aroma. The color of the item varies with how long you leave it to Brew. I mixed mine with some honey and it came out great. Reasonably relaxing nice flavor nice smell definitely worth a drink
