I love this. I have blonde eyelashes, so dying them black makes a big difference for me. I dye them myself and the process isn’t difficult. I just do one eye at a time and as long as I don’t move around too much I don’t have an issue. I struggled a lot the first time because having the other eye open makes it difficult to keep the other fully closed for me. I’ve gotten the dye in my eye several times and while it burns like hell, a little cold water and it’s like it never happened Im not saying it can’t cause damage if you get it in your eye, just that my eyesight has been fine and the irritation doesn’t last more than a minute for me. Everyone’s different, the product may not be perfectly uniform per bottle, and I may just be good at rinsing it quickly and thoroughly. I don’t let it sit if it burns and always rinse and restart the process

I’ve used multiple eyelash tints before and have typically had mine done professionally as I did not love the other ones I’ve tried. I have been very happy with the results and ease of use for this product. I may not be going back to the salon! I mix a one to one ratio per the instructions, then I let it sit probably a bit longer than instructions say (usually while I get showered), then I apply using the brush wand (I like that better, more similar to putting on mascara) and start an 8 minute timer. Then I rinse off the mix with water and a makeup remover wipe. I have found I only need a small amount (maybe an 1/8 of the mixing spoon type holder provided). The mix is brown but does dye my lashes a dark black (I have medium shade lashes normally). While it can sting I have gotten pretty good at not over applying, with the same good results, and found it barely stings if applied lightly. I’d say it lasts about 3 weeks per application. I will definitely buy this again and would recommend it.

These worked great for me. I was a bridesmaid in my brothers wedding and I just knew I would be crying the entire day so rather than try to find some sort of military grade mascara I simply chose to dye my lashes and go without. It worked GREAT. It doesn’t really volumize the way mascara does, so if the main reason you use mascara is for length and volume it won’t create the same effect. But for me, my lashes are really pale to the point where they are practically invisible if I don’t tint them, so this product did just that. I even ended up going without mascara for a few weeks after. The effect lasts probably 1-2 weeks depending on your hair growth. I did have to dye them 2 - 3 times to get them as dark as I wanted. The tint does burn a little bit but it doesn’t seem to stain the skin. I was a little sloppy with application and worried I would have a few blotches on my eyelids but it wiped off of my skin just fine. I got the kit that had the under eye protectors but honestly they were such a worse hassle, poked my skin and eyes and kept shifting and lifting up so I ended up not using them at all.

Looks great! Works well for both brows and lashes and looks very natural although I wouldn’t say it lasts a month as the box says. More like a few days …

I had a really bad reaction to these and it caused my eyes to burn and water. I tried to power through it and kept it on for 5 minutes per the directions. It barely tinted my eyelashes. Super disappointed.

Does what it says - dyes my light blonde lashes black. Obviously when it gets in the eyes, it burns. Duh. So Far I've been re-dying every 2-3 weeks so I can't say exactly how long it lasts but for the price of this is last tinting in the salon, this is well worth the price! Tip: use a Qtip to put petroleum jelly below and above your lashlines to keep from dying your skin. The little patches they include didnt help me personally but the jelly sure did!

It worked in that the dye left my lashes slightly darker, the problem is my lashes are already dark so there was almost no change. Only use it all of your lashes are blonde

This is a cheaper alternative to getting your eye lashes tinted at a local salon. Unfortunately, it also means a higher risk for allergic reaction. I used standard precautions like Vaseline on my eyelids and being careful when applying. There was no remarkable stinging when I applied the dye, but the next morning I woke up to localized swelling on my lash line. It looked like I had cried for a few hours. Swelling went down within a day, but I know if I try to dye again using this formula I run the risk of a worse reaction. Besides that, product is great (thus the two stars) it’s been three weeks and my lashes are still mostly dark. I am a pale ginger so this allows me to not rely on mascara to look human, but the allergic reaction risk isn’t worth it for me. I’ll stick to salon services.

I have blond lashes, so I gave this a try. It works really well and I love it! I just paint it on, no fuss, leave it for a few minutes and it’s done. It’s so easy!! I use it every couple of weeks, so I don’t need mascara. It stings if you get it in your eye, but that’s easy to avoid. This is a great product that I will definitely buy again and again.

0 stars. It’s too liquid to adhere to lashes and therefore does nothing. My lashes are blonde and this yielded no noticeable difference despite trying a second time and leaving on for 10minutes. It’s also impossible to get to base of lashes without irritating the eye because the product is too liquid. Waste of time and money and my eyes hurt.

The dye works great, but I was only able to use it on my eyebrows and not my eyelashes (which was the reason I purchased it). When I used it on my eyelashes, my eyes burned painfully from whatever chemicals are in the product. I had my eyes closed when I used it, but even that wasn't enough. I wound up having to wipe it off almost immediately because I couldn't handle it. Since I had the dye mixed anyway, I decided to use it on my eyebrows and actually loved the result. I'll probably keep using it for that. I was very disappointed that I couldn't do my eyelashes though, since that was the whole reason I bought this product. I wanted to stop using mascara, but alas no.

Ordered the black and tinted my lashes and brows. I like everything but the eye patches. Those caused my eyes to swell and the skin underneath go very red. So if you have any problems with adhesive or latex I'd avoid using those. Unsure of how long the results will last but it's been 5 days and still black. I like that it didn't stain my skin.
