I’m a side sleeper, and I have shoulder/neck pain pretty much every evening after work. I had an impinged nerve in my shoulder that never healed… I’ve been trying to find a pillow that actually helps, I tried numerous companies with different price ranges. I was skeptical when I got this pillow. I arrived and I realized I never had a queen pillow before, so I needed a pillowcase for it, that’s fine, since you can always put a big pillowcase on a small pillow not the other way. So ok solved. I liked the idea that I could adjust it myself, but then it’s basically tiny pieces of memory foam inside which were falling out and I thought at first it was annoying. Actually it was extremely satisfying to touch them, but I could literally adjust the thickness and firmness of the pillow to my like! The crescent shape was weird and I couldn’t understand how to use it, but omg I think it’s my favorite pillow. I’m a side sleeper with dinosaur hands and constant neck problems. Those edges of the pillow keep my chin lifted which makes me clench less during sleep. I love that I could adjust it myself, yes it seems inconvenient at first, but man, I didn’t sleep through the night for almost a year until this pillow. It’s trial and error, but it’s definitely worth it! For this price, I was surprised with the quality of pillowcase, how much actual stuffing it has. You can make it fluffy, or sturdy up to you, there is enough of foam, and they include a bag with additional foam if it’s not enough. Just get it honestly, the worst thing is that you won’t sleep on this pillow, but the stuffing can be still utilized. I really think it’s worth a try, it’s not so expensive and not cool “will fix your spine and make you a super star” pillow, but I definitely feel like one after sleeping on it. Also for people with ADHD/ASD, it really helps me with my dinosaur hands, I somehow end up being relaxed all night and I even stopped grinding my teeth, which I thought would never happen. So far this pillow is a life saver for me

This pillow does everything in the description. Keeps face cool all night. No more sweat at night. I longer get woke up the shoulder pain or tingling in my hands. Very comfortable, I did not have to put anymore filling in it. I am a side sleeper, highly recommend.

I'm not gonna lie, I almost returned this because of the smell...BUT IT GOES AWAY! You do have to air the pillow out and wash the pillow case BUT my neck/shoulder/arm pain went away after one night. It's just the right amount of support and I like how you can adjust the firmness. Im a side sleeper so I didn't add much of the stuffing. I also sleep with my hands curled up into my chin (where my fellow dinosaur hands people at?!! Lol) and this pillow is great for that. I'm really glad I kept this one. I'm impressed!!

I fell 2 years ago place trash in a dumpster. The owner had not repaired potholes and I twisted my ankle and did a 360 against a brick wall. I have no money for medical care and it appears I have herniated my disc's, done permanent nerve damage that runs down my right arm and gets numb and in pain. It takes me an average of 4-6 hours before I be free of pain. I can no longer drive more that 15-30 minutes. I cannot tolerate sitting beyond an hour. I can no longer handle an 8 hour day working on a computer. This event has changed my life. I never slept with pillows but I finally realized I required a pillow to support my neck and back. I bought a medium tempedic pillow which works when laying on my back but not so much for side sleeping. This pillow has allowed me to sleep on my side again. I tried it on my back and I am still dealing with how much fill should be in the pillow. Initially I removed some of the fill and this did not support my head and sank causing the pinched nerves to stain and cause terrible pain. I re-added the fill and this allowed me to be okay when sleeping on my side. I like the way this cradles my head when sleeping on my side. Once in a while I have used it to sleep on my back but I have to pushed the pillow under my shoulders so my head is supported and not tilting into my chest. I alternate between this pillow for side sleeping and the tempedic pillow for back sleeping. It took about 3-4 days to allow the smell to go away. I also feel the manufacturer should sell it with a pillowcase as this adds to the expense. I am hoping in time the relief of the pressure will allow my pinched nerve and herniated disc's to heal but it has been past 2 years and I don't see much improvement. So I will need a pillow like this just feel somewhat able to handle just normal basic function. If you have pinch nerves, herniated disc's and have a whiplash injury this will definitely help you if you are a side sleeper. Just know you will need 2 other pillows to support your back and arm. Note the I ordered the King Size Pillow. Do not buy the smaller pillow it will not work as it will be too small for the with of your shoulders and arms. I gave it 4 stars because it comes without a pillowcase and you cannot really use it for back sleeping as it tilts your head forward exasperating and irritating whiplash injury. Update September 2024: This pillow has relieved the herniated and punched nerves. I am finally waking up pain free. I use this pillow to sleep on my side and this cradles my head. It is my favorite pillow and once in a great while I may use the tempedic pillow a little bit but this is the pillow that has helped me so much. I have added the stars to 5 bc this is a true miracle and my gratitude cannot be measured. I am telling everyone I know about this pillow. Buy it if you work with computers and have neck or whiplash injuries. You need to give it time and place the pillow behind your neck when you sleep on your side. This will give you relief and you will wake up pain free.

Pillow Review I absolutely love this pillow! I really appreciated that it came with extra filling so I could adjust the firmness to my preference. It’s incredibly soft and comfortable whether I’m sleeping on my side or my back. The first time I laid my head on it, I literally felt like I was sinking into a cloud. It’s supportive without feeling too firm, and the ability to customize the filling makes it even better. Definitely one of the most comfortable pillows I’ve purchased!

I struggle to find decent pillows. This is awesome for side sleepers and holds it's shape all night. I have similar more expensive pillows and this one is far better. It did have a strong chemical smell but it was gone by the third night. Would buy again.

I bought this to replace a side sleeper memory foam pillow I purchased from Costco a number of years ago. I kept it, but I may be looking for a replacement sooner than later. First, the cooling effect is pretty temporary, unless you move around on the pillow a lot. That was disappointing since I run a little hot at night. Also, for me, it was way too "stuffed" to make it comfortable to sleep on. It comes with extra foam filling, but I found myself taking out that much or more filling from how it came to make it comfortable. After I did that, I didn't have any neck or shoulder problems. Because it is filled with shredded foam, it is softer (more malleable) than a solid piece of memory foam. I think I would like that IF the cooling effect lasted. Unfortunately, I kind of feel that after my head sinks into it and the cooling wears off, it starts to feel pretty warm. Also, because it is shredded, it moves around more, so I find myself "fluffing" it every couple of nights. Not a big deal, just a difference from solid foam. So, I think this would be a great pillow if you are a side sleeper that 1) likes a soft pillow, 2) wants to be able to adjust the feel by adding/removing the foam, and 3) doesn't care about the pillow feeling cool.

I look forward to going to bed just so I can lay on this pillow! I don’t wake up with a sore neck or headache any longer, and it actually stays cool. I got a cooling pillowcase as well. The amount of stuffing is perfect for me but if you want it thicker, it comes with extra. I couldn’t be happier with it.

What you should know, is that I am so excited for this pillow, that I have only used it successfully for a nap, and I just gotta write a review already. I ought to sleep a full night on it first. But after just a short nap, after first putting all the stuffing in, and thinking oh god no. And then removing enough to fill the box it came in, and then having a nap. I was like. Oh. My. Effing. God. And I am dramatic and hypo manic. But if I werent, I would be saying the same thing. It is so good . I’ve never had a fancy pillow before. We get the ones from Costco usually in Canada, but they stopped selling those ones. So now we get the roots home ones from Costco, and those are big pancakes, am I right? I spent money buying those rotten Costco pillows, hated them, and got this. And im happy with it. Smells like it will give you cancer, but only for about five minutes. Then clean bamboo cotton feel and neutral smell. So good. And that is just the nap remember. I still have the full nights sleep. Do you want to talk about this pillow even more? Just some gossip? Sure ok. Well. I have it with me on the couch too. It’s heavier than normal pillow. But not super heavy. It is so bouncy. And so adjustable. It is what you want. The ratings on this are far best. Edit - ive slept on it now . A few observations, ; if you adjust the amount of stuffing, just one or two handfuls too much or too little will make it not right, you need to get the exact amount for you. And probably as the pillow arrives is about the level ive found right. And as for the cooling. My entire body is drenched in sweat when I wake up . So im not sure if I have body sickness problems or if some people just sweat when they sleep. So even my hair is wet in the morning, and so I don’t know how well the cooling works, but certainly it is voodoo magic feeling to the touch when you feel how cold it is. And you know the stuffing is all the same. So it is the material on surface that absorbs more heat like metal is cold to the touch even though room temp , and the heat dissipates in to the other places in the pillow? I might not be the best judge on that because a lot of us who are prisoners of war, as you know we’ve been invaded, and once we are placed on fhe Harry Truman tsdb, many people say we’re being constantly hit with dews from space. Which causes the Frey effect and Havana syndrome. That is hypothetical to me. But certainly being a prisoner of war is easier with this new pillow. It makes the nightmares turn into nice dreams instead. It’s probably good for women since it’s mostly them on the tsdb. And maybe im nuts, theres a guy named flesh simulator on YouTube who had someone he doesn’t know email him a pic of his front door. Hes on the tsdb too, and he shows how to make fray effect devices that are brief cased size. Lots of people say the popping in the ears is being microwaved by neighbours not space . And anywhere you go in the world, take your pillow. Because Truman show is worldwide now.

I had feather pillows as I like thin rather than bulky ,but woke up with neck and upper back pain . This side sleeper pillow is well made and you get extra filling if you need it harder . Instead of waking up during the night to adjust the feather ones , the curved shape of this keeps my head stable and I have slept un disturbed and far less pain in my neck and back. I did however take some of the memory foam out to fit my preference but it was easy to do . I love it wish I had bought one way before .

I bought this for its cooling properties. My expectations were low, I was pleasantly surprised. One side is definitely cooler than the other. Obviously it’s not going to stay cool with my hot head on the same spot all night, however, it stays cool long enough and I don’t flip my pillow all night long. It takes a slight head movement to feel a cold spot again. I bought a cooling pillow case as well to double up on the cooling capabilities. Pillow is soft and comfortable. I’m a side sleeper so I bought the curved one. So far, I don’t have any complaints other than nothing will ever been cool enough, but I appreciate the effort.

These pillows are incredibly comfortable! I’m a side/stomach sleeper, but they’re also very comfortable when lying on my back. I found that using king size pillowcases made a big difference because the pillows felt soft and supportive without being overly stuffed or stiff. When I tried them in zip up queen size pillowcases, they felt a little too full and firm for my liking. Once I switched to king size cases, they were perfect. The curved shape is especially great for side sleeping. Another huge plus was that they had absolutely no chemical smell when I opened them. They fluffed up almost immediately, and I was able to use them the same night they arrived. I’ve been using them for a month now, and they’ve held their shape and comfort really well. I highly recommend these pillows because they’re excellent quality for the price!
