I give this yoyo an overall 5 star as a very affordable, well made and durable beginner yoyo and beyond. I still consider myself a beginner, but have been yoyoing off and on since the 90's. As now a senior citizen, teaching my grandchildren the basics, I have come back into the world of yoyoing and a bit overwhelmed how much yoyos have changed and the variety of yoyos on the market. And so after recently purchasing a few modern ballbearing responsive yoyos, in order to advance in learning new tricks, I have to say that this K2 Plus by MagicYoYo is by far my favorite! In comparing it to the ones I have purchased, The Fizz, The Spinstar, The One, The F.A.S.T. 201, The Sage, as well as MagicYoYo T7 and K1, this one has taken me the farthest in learning more difficult string tricks. I have been trying to master the Man on The Trapeze as well as the Brain Twister for about a month now with these other yoyos, to no success, however, in just 1 day of practicing with the K2 Plus, I am amazed how much better I can do these tricks. For one thing, the spin time is fantastic, the weight feels so balanced and unlike beginner yoyos like the Fizz, Spinstar and F.A.S.T. 201, it doesn't return so quickly with a tiny bit of tug, it allows you to be more in control. And to top it off, it's a beautiful yoyo! I got the green which is see through crystal plastic and more like a blue/green. I am not ready to graduate to unresponsive yet, however, this K2 Plus, comes with the conversion kit (bearing and tool) to convert it to an unresponsive yoyo, so you have the best of both worlds. It's not a great yoyo for looping, but that's not what this type of yoyo is for, it's for string tricks. If you're looking for an all around beginner yoyo, thats good at learning loops too, then I would recommend, The Spinstar, The Fizz, The F.A.S.T. 201 or if you want a decent responsive all around beginner metal yoyo, go with MagicYoYo T7. This K2 Plus yoyo is also very smooth, hardly any wable for a plastic yoyo, as well as very quiet. For $12.55 and a 10% coupon to clip, you cannot go wrong with this K2 Plus yoyo by MagicYoYo, whether you are a beginner or a more advanced player!

I made this purchase along side the MagicYoYo x iYo Purple Line yoyo. For a plastic yoyo this thing plays great! Responsive Bearing: The responsive bearing in this was dead silent out of the box. It was lubed up so you may need to remove some excess lube. It was snappy and for a beginner thrower it's a great choice! The yoyo gap is very thin so the strings (5 included) the K2 is packed with will catch the response pads very easily. Once you're ready for unresponsive mode, the process to change it is very quick! All you have to do is grab the included bearing removal tool, the longer axel (which might I add is silver! Easy to find if you drop it), and the concave bearing. Unresponsive Bearing: It wasn't as silent as the responsive bearing but it showed the true potential of what the K2 Crystal can do! String tricks are a breeze with the profile of this yoyo and the spin times are pretty good especially for a $12 yoyo. The concave bearing that came with the K2 is so much better than the bearing that came with the Purple Line, maybe because the Purple Line is an older model and may have been sitting in storage. The yoyo itself has some vibe but it's a $12 plastic yoyo. Most plastic yoyo's do vibe. Though some people may see that as a flaw I personally do not mind it at all, for the price, the K2 Crystal is a great choice for beginners especially if you want to learn finger spins! The finger spin dimple is blasted resulting in good spin times while performing finger spins. With the included gloves (which may be on the small side for adults) makes finger spins even easier. Grab this yoyo while you can, haven't stopped playing with it since I got it!

Overall, a good yoyo for all skill levels. However, I notice the spin time is close to 0, and it comes back to you at the most random times.

I've only used it as a responsive yo-yo, and I love the thing. I get so many people complimenting it, and watching me. I am know as the yo-yo man. The size feels great in my hand. It sleeps better than a lot of the yo-yos I used to get back in the day, and still responsive enough to return back. I like that the design including both setups, but I just prefer responsive. Would be a great starter yo-yo for kids wanting to get into the hobby, as it gives them option to find whats fun for them. Especially, because of the easy of use with being responsive. Plus the extra strings included, and case.

this was a great yoyo especially for its price. this is a beginner, to intermedeate, to professional budget yoyo. this yoyo is great for its price. it comes with one responsive berring and one unresponsive berring. when you use the yoyo with the unresponsive berring the yoyo is smooth and can handle any tricks you throw at it. it comes with a great carrying case, a lot of poleyester strings and a free yoyo glove. highly recomend this yoyo as it is just insane for its price wll done magicyoyo!

Great quality. Came with tools and parts to convert yo-yo between normal and pro mode (responsive/ unresponsive) Came with more than 10 different coloured strings and a protective carry case. For the price…this is outstanding value. The yo-yo also performs well for the price. If it was sold in a shop u could charge double or triple and the customer would not feel ripped off

It’s good. Good spin time the unresponsive play can handle Godspeed and DNA u can do beginner to intermediate tricks but not advanced tricks. Over all a very good yo-yo and worth buying it and value of money
