As stated, this looks and feels very nice and matches my old Fitbit Inspire quite well. I was not thrilled, however, with the lack of instruction that came with this (not even a video). Now, was this incredibly hard to figure out? As someone who has never used or seen a link remover, it took a little time to figure it out and required a bright flashlight to shine on the chain as I slowly turned the knob to push the link out.

The watch band was incredibly inexpensive and it dresses up the fitbit inspire hr significantly. The directions included with the band could have been better and printed on something larger than small card as they were difficult to see. The included tool for removing link pin was fantastic and made that part of process easy. It did take some trying to get one end of the band to stay in the fitbit but probably would have been faster with assistance. Once pins were reinserted, they need to be tapped in which I did by wrapping Saran Wrap around the band, standing up on a cutting board and gently tapping with small ball hammer. End result was no scratches and it fits perfectly. I ordered size small and removed 5 links.

Could not shorten the band .. poor construction

I am pleased with the quality of the band itself. The clasp is unlike any I've had before. You depress both sides of the band near the clasp and it unfolds. The band does not completely unfold. It stays in a circular shape with plenty of room to pull it over your hand. The band looks substantial, but it does not feel heavy to me. It's comfortable enough to wear to bed.As others have said, the band can be time consuming to adjust and you need good eyesight or a magnifying glass. The little tool that's provided to remove the pins to adjust the band is essential. However, I do think better instructions could be provided and in larger font. I thought the tool was screwing the pins in and out, but in fact it's only pushing them in and out. Fortunately, the manufacturer provides an extra metal tip for the tool because I broke one while trying to push a pin in. I think the tool tip was actually pushing into the band itself and not the pin because the pins are very small and it can be difficult to line up the pin with the tool tip. You have to remove the bottom of the tool to find the extra tip inside.Despite the difficulty in sizing the band, I would buy it again because it was the only gold (not rose gold) band I could find in this type of style.

It does take a little work to get the correct fitting for your wrist size. The tool is included. Im glad I purchased it.
