3 in 1 Lightning OTG USB Flash Drive 32/64/128/256GB Pen Drive for iPhone/iPad/iOS/Android/PC USB Memory Stick (32GB)

When I got this 3 in 1 Lightning OTG USB, I was so excited. From the description, you should be able to just stick it into your phone and it will begin doing its work. That is not the case. Before you begin, you have to figure out how to get started. The instructions are poorly written and are a little confusing.First, you need to download the Y-Disk app from AppStore. Then, it says it will work with your photos, videos, and time-lapse photography. I have been trying to load my videos and it doesn't recognize time on my iPhone. In the app's Functional Instructions, it states the flash supports various video formats. My video was just shot using my phone, so why won't it recognize that format? I followed the directions, but I keep getting an error message.Back to the instructions, they are just not clear or helpful. They provide the features of the flash, but not how to actually use the flash. I understand that once you download, that information should be accessible, but the information in the app wasn't helpful either.Even though it was not expensive, I don't think this product is worth the money. Spend a little more and get something a little better.

This was the worst purchase ive ever made. I dont usually return things but this was a "must". It wouldn't fit into my new Android phone even tho it has a lift up port to do so. Instructions were awful to understand and it was a total waste of my hard earned $28. Amazon promptly returned my purchase price and I'll be more Leary of items like this in the future.

Doesnt work as shown on Instagram. U need the app. & after u get it the sreps r complicated & too many😢

I guess you get what you pay for. I was hoping to find a solution to a long overdue photo transfer from phone to computer in this affordable thumb drive. I love the idea and it would have been a great option for this shutter-happy mom. I can’t speak to the effectiveness of the actual USB, since the app (which was needed to load pictures and transfer to USB) only loaded a selection of about 20 random photos from the 6000+ on my phone and none of the videos, documents, etc. I noodled around on the app a bit to try and refresh/reload but with no luck and murky instructions from the developer. Perhaps this will be a perfectly functioning tool with a more advanced and properly developed app, but I don’t really have the time to wait in hopes the developers will respond to feedback via the App Store. Returning tomorrow and hoping for better luck with another brand.

I hope this has the capacity that is stated. It appears to be working. I am just having a problem with the slide button falling off. So it is difficult to move the plugs in and out

I was worried about this USB flash drive but everything seems to be working great. No problems at all checked to see if it was really 256gb and three different systems say it is. Great buy. OKAY AN UPDATE: This thing is not copying the files, photos, or anything else. So in a new review I am not happy about this thing and will be sending it back. FAKE GB SIZE. ( How did they do that? )

Downloaded app but coukdnt get it to work

I found that when installing a Video file, it has some delay issues so when plugging it in be tight and do not bump it at all. When looking to put in large files or many videos do only 1 0r 2 at a time. When using this be aware it is a item that is not ! super fast and could freeze but for the value it does work. This is sold at 20 percent of regular scandisk cost and so do not expect it to work like a name brand. It is a working device BUT for far less and I personally had great service.These DO Work . AGAIN do expect slower processor and be patient. Video files take longer and only upload 1-2 at a time !, You are saving a LARGE $ amount for a good - NON-Brand name item and it WORKS !!

After downloading all the pictures from my phone to the USB flash drive, I tried to see if the pictures would appear on my husband’s phone. Nothing appeared. I put the stick back on my phone and nothing was downloaded on it. I requested that a replacement stick be sent. The company is very responsive I got a new one very fast. I did the same process with the new USB flash drive on my husband’s phone. The pictures did appear on his phone. 3 days later, he tried to see the pictures from the USB stick and nothing appeared.Good thing I did not delete all the pictures from my phone, as I would have probably lost all the pictures.

This item does not come with clear instructions. Took me a long time to,find videos,of similar products to get this to work. It is not fast or efficient either. In the end it does work, but I also bought a couple to give to other people and they are frustrated. I had to make a list of instructions for everyone. Not worth it. I would buy the apple endorsed brand next time.

Was excited to find a drive with excellent capacity at a great price, but it is poorly made and after about 5 uses plugging in to desktop to transfer and then into ipad it is useless. The biggest problem is the wee plastic button slider that pushes the ends out when in use. It is not attached well, popped off on the first push! After hunting for it because it is so tiny and hard to spot I Krazy glued it back on. Broke off again after using it twice more. Gorilla glued it on the second time and now that holds, but the in/out movement has now weakened the frame and it requires wiggling and jiggling to make the connection on the USB side. I bought two originally, second one on first use button popped off as well. Disappointing!

Purchased 2 of these for myself and one for my son. After a month, device is not always recognized by Apple device and PC. PC will ask to reformat memory stick and have no choice but to continue. After 2 months, completely dead. Although price is good .. not worth the price if you can’t use it after 2 months. As for the one I gave my son ... he hardly uses it now as he doesn’t want to lose any files. In other words, these SSD are not reliable.

*** Pros vs Cons ***Pros (5 stars):- I am amazed at the capacity vs cost of this device: It is a lot of gigs for my money!- The multiple integrated plugs that allow this storage device to interface with multiple platforms is quite ingenious.- From my MS Windows PC platform, this 256 gig storage device is undistinguishable from any other standard USB drive, thus allowing full file management capabilities. In my opinion, this single feature worths more than the current price of this device.So far, I have used the iOS device connector and the USB connector. I do not own an android device on which I could test the 3rd integrated trapezoidal connector, and have no reason to doubt that it would not perform as well as the two other connectors.Cons (1.5 stars):- The Y-Drive device driver, provided on the Apple platform for my iPad, does not do justice to this impressive hardware, and this by a long shot! Its bare-bone user interface is frustrating: From my perspective, it should offer a modicum of file handling functions such as ‘file delete’ (strictly on the iFlash drive), some sorting and full directory handling options (strictly on the iFlash drive), and hopefully some clear helpful info text that clearly define the iOS limits of this device (cannot transfer music to and fro my iPad). After checking the quality of a couple of uploaded videos by playing them back on my iPad from the iFlash drive, I almost returned the 3 iFlash drives that I bought here on Amazon, based on a de-pixilated rendering of one of them. Luckily I took the time to play them from my Windows 10 PC, where I found that the video files where all ok.I do acknowledge that the upload function from my iPad to the iFlash drive works well. I have not checked its download functions on my iPad.

First off I do not give 5 stars because nothing is perfect. I used this to download my pictures from my phone. It did the job quickly and with no problems. I recommend this unit if you want to reduce the number of pictures on your phone so you can take more then download them. I actually bought a second one for my wife.

when I uploaded the photos from my ipad the first time it seemed to load everything, the second time it did not upload all the new photos only uploaded a couple, but uploaded the old ones, the instructions do not make any sense, this was a waste of money I copied everything on the disk to my laptop then deleted the files on the u disk and tried again to upload, nothing happened

La clé micro USB pour Android n’est pas accessible en soulevant une partie de la clé USB comme montré sur le site mais en la sortant avec l’ongle. Ça rend celle-ci très fragile et facile à briser. De plus, le bouton servant à sortir l’une ou l’autre des clés s’est détaché dès la première utilisation, j’ai dû faire preuve de patience pour le remettre en place. Le mécanisme est très différent de celui montré sur le site et beaucoup moins pratique.

Very disappointing stick! My IPad Air did not recognize the USB stick! The required App is not good and constantly had a bubble pop up asking to “Confirm the removal of USB” or Confirm the USB is inserted” I tried downloading 3 different App versions to no avale. The App has a few options that are supposed to be helpful, but in my opinion are useless. The printed instructions are vague, poorly translated and tiny. The construction of the USB stick feels flimsy. When the App is running with USB stick inserted into the iPad the screen orientation is lengthwise so the combined length with the sick is awkward to handle.

For IOS (IPAD/iphone) ...Once the control app (called Y ) is installed ....it can magically export photos/video and contact list to the gizmo ....also its a 256gig memory usb stick ....awesome ....Doesn't seem to work for android cellphones ...I have tried with 4-5 of them ....

I am so sorry to be writing you this late, I did not realize I had a final date and I just now opened the package and tried out this device. It does NOT work in my computer., My computer states that Windows does not recognize it and therefore it will not open. Please let me know if there is anything you can do for me, I am extremely disappointed that I cannot use it for anything. thankyou Sandra

SHE DOESNT KEEP HER WORD AND SHE SENT ME A BROKEN PRODUCT I CAN NOT USE EVER AND I CANT PRINT THE LABEL OFF TO RETURN IT AND NO ONE IS OF ANY HELP, AND DORIS AVOIDS YOU AND NEVER KEEPS HER WORD.

It is hard to push in and out of the slot. When attaching it to the device, you kind of have to hold lightening latch so it doesn't come out. Instructions not good enough for not technically knowledgeable people. All pics transferred are blank - and i have to go in and physically rename them.
