This is beet powder and can be quite messy, but it is an amazing supplement. I have tested it with my blood pressure and after taking it does temporarily lower my blood pressure. it is also used as a pre-workout, but it doesn’t seem to give me that type of energy. Nonetheless, I think it’s an amazing product even if it is messy and can stain. It also tastes like dried up beets and that is to be expected. I still love this supplement!

I obviously don't know the chemistry of this product beyond the most basic points but in terms of practical use, it tastes OK so you don't have to worry about it like with so many supplements. It mixes very well in smoothies and so far, I've had no side effects. Research on company shows a very good reputation and US manufacture rather than importation from the dangers of mainland China. Definite recommendation.
