Easy install. Worked perfectly on a Mt. Vernon Pellet insert. Saved me tons of $ for a service call.
Installing was easy enough that I could do it. Had to use a mirror to see what I was doing, but it worked fine. The igniter works perfectly right from the start. I can not speak for the long term reliability just now, but if I remember to, I will update this review later to let you know how it goes.Update:Turns out I purchased the wrong item. I have a Mt. Vernon Pellet insert and this igniter blew up, shorted the GFI and blew a fuse on the main board behind the insert in less than one day. I had to have my local Quadrafire tech come out to troubleshoot and fix everything. I'm glad it was just the fuse so I didn't have to buy a new board! Just make sure you buy the correct part with the correct wattage.

Fits and working
I have a 16 year old Quadrafire Chamber Bay that we use 3/4 of the year as our main heat, I’ve never had to replace the igniter until this week so the old one worked for many years. The new one has long leads and fits fine in the metal holder. My model doesn’t have the push on clips on the lead wires, instead it uses ceramic wire nuts. I cut the push on clips off and reused the ceramic wire nuts. Easy to replace and fired right up and is working great again. Some comments said this part didn’t last long. If it lasts 1/2 the time the first one I’ll be happy. I’m a 65 year old woman with some repair experience. Hardest part was laying on the floor to do the work and getting back up, lol.

Don't be caught with out a spare...
This item shipped in days from the seller. These ingnitors are hit and miss with the quality. These seem to work the best in my stove. I count on going through at least 2 a year during the winter, but our pellet stove is our main source of heat so it runs almost constantly.I always have a spare because you never know when one will fail.I have had some that burnt out in a month, and some that lasted all season.don't be caught with out a spare on in the dead of winter.

Good quality, easy installation
Excellent quality replacement part at very reasonable price. Part was actually shipped from the store where we bought our pellet stove, Earth Sense. We were very happy when we saw this because we knew we weren't getting an inferior product. My husband installed it after watching YouTube video. Quick and easy to install.

Requires minimum skill to install
My Quadra-Fire Classic Bay is around 20 years old, and this fix was quite simple and the new Igniter works perfectly as it should. The new igniter was about 1/2 inch longer than the original, so it was a little challenging to work it into the steel rectangular holder. My biggest concern was the original as described on the Amazon website, had two porcelain connectors, which are heat resistant. The new connector has as described the two plastic quick connections, which would be fine if the igniter and the wires weren't sitting within a couple inches from the pellet stove pot. That pot gets incredibly hot, and would melt plastic in seconds, so I opted to cut off the plastic ends, stripped the heat resistant wires and connected with the original porcelain connectors. It works perfectly
