This is exactly what I was looking for - a sturdy, heavy bowl I could use for mixing up pet food without making a mess! I was a little worried it would be flimsy, but it's definitely a good quality bowl. And it's VERY BIG!

I read all the reviews on this bowl and was concerned about the "popping" sound other people experienced. The bowl was for my daughter who bakes a crazy amount of bread, cookes, etc., at one time. I felt that the trade-off with whatever popping and the size of the bowl was worth it so I got it. My daughter is over the moon with this bowl. It is HUGE but perfect for her. The popping doesn't bother her because some of her other old bowls do the same thing. She said, "I'm using it to prep all my baking, it doesn't pop unless I push on the bottom and force it to." So, in her and my opinion, this bowl is perfect! Don't like to hear a popping noise if you push down on the bottom, then don't push down or better yet, turn the radio on and listen to some great tunes while prepping whatever delight is being whipped up! Honestly, this bowl is well made; the quality is good, the weight is perfect and the size is amazing! Don't hesitate, buy it!!

Bowl is not as thin as the other reviews claim. Very nice bowl, will be great for mixing pancakes for 200 people

This is the second bowl we've bought for our church kitchen. It's used every week to feed over 200 people from our area. It's great!

This enormous metal bowl is sturdy and well made. Ours arrived with some scuffs on the inside base area. It's still awesome. It's so huge that if you talk into the base, it echoes. It will probably entertain very tired silly people or children for a while, just with the echoes and unique enormousness. Some might want to use it as a drum or snow sled. Big enough to hold tons of delicious buttery popcorn on movie night, for a LARGE group of people.If you don't have a commercial kitchen or large pantry you might have to get creative to store this wonderful bowl away.Ours was delivered in a big box and for the box size it seemed feather light, so we had absolutely no idea what was in the box when we received it, via UPS. Box did not have Amazon branding or Amazon return address.
