Perfect Storage Upgrade for PiKVM – Fast, Reliable, and Compact
I purchased the SanDisk 256GB Ultra Fit USB 3.2 Flash Drive to add internal storage for my PiKVM, specifically to store ISO files. The compact size is perfect for my setup, and the read speeds up to 400 MB/s make accessing my files quick and efficient. It's been working flawlessly so far. The RescuePRO data recovery software is a nice bonus, providing peace of mind in case of accidental file loss. Overall, this flash drive delivers excellent performance and reliability. Highly recommend!

Good drive, 128GB 400mb/s did not work on COREELEC though
I bought the 128GB as a bootable disk for CORELEC but could not get it to work. As soon as I used another Sandisk 64GB 130mb/s, it worked. There does not seem to be a size limit on the CORELEC wiki, but I did notice that this drive is in the Sandisk Knowledgebase as not bootable and is classed as a fixed disk, but it can be either type.Right-click the drive > Properties > Hardware tab if listed as:USB Sandisk 3.2Gen1 USB Disk Drive - This is bootableUSB Sandisk 3.2Gen1 SCSI Disk Drive - This is NOT bootableSo my 128GB 400mb/s is SCSI, and the 64GB 3.1 130mb/s is USBI'm unsure if this is the answer, but it may help someone.Search for: SanDisk (CZ430) Ultra Fit USB 3.2 Flash Drive Not BootableIt is a good very fast drive, and around £11, so will keep it for another purpose.

Fast USB drive works with large video files - copies fast, plays without any formatting.
Bought the SanDisk Ultra Fit 512GB USB Drive. The listing is confusing because I had selected the 400MB/s read speed version, but I received a drive with only 150MB/s read speed. I was on the verge of returning it but then decided to give it a try. Well, even at 150MB/s read speed, the USB drive is fast enough to copy 150-200GB in 30-45 minutes (approx.) All in all, I transferred about 300-400 GB of files on this USB and they transferred pretty quickly. I had previously bought another generic brand's 1TB USB and that was S-L-O-W! After copying the video files on the SanDisk Ultra Fit, I connected it to my Nvidia Shield TV box and all the files are read and play without issues. I did not have to do any formatting or anything else. Just copy the files, plug into the Nvidia and it was ready to go. This USB drive has a very small form factor, so now I don't need to use my external drive, which would make whirring noises and was more bulky. Recommend this product based on the experience so far.

Reformat to NTFS if you can.
I go this for my Christmas movies I converted to video files so that I can watch them on my tablet when I'm at my brothers house. First of all this comes out of the package formatted as exFAT which will accept larger than 1GB files.Heres what I had to do to get this to read / write at the advertised speed and most important of all what I had to do so that my tablet would play the movies without stuttering or just completely stopping a few minutes in.First of all to get this to read and write at the advertised speeds you need to reformat it to NTFS. When I was putting the videos onto the drive when its in exFAT format I was getting 30MB/s write speeds and dipping below 1MB/s at times. When I reformatted the drive I was getting over 300MB/s write and no less than 90MB/s write when the speed dipped to certain file types. On to my problem with my tablet (Honor pad 9) having trouble playing 4K movies. With the exFat formatted drive the videos would play for less than a minute then start stuttering and a few seconds later the videos would just completely stop. When I reformatted the drive to NTFS I still had a similar problem but it would play for about two minutes before the stuttering started then it would completely stop again. What I had to do to remedy this was insert the drive into my computers USB and run trim on the drive. There was 80% fragmentation in the drive before I ran trim. After doing this my tablet will play the 4K movies with absolutely no problem. What I find very concerning though is even when just playing a 4K movie off the drive it gets very very hot. With it getting so hot expect the life expectency of the drive to be short. NAND flash (Which is used in this for storage) needs to run at a certain temperature range to work properly and if it gets too hot it will reduce its life span.I've given this 4 stars for the problems I've had with reading video files and spending hours troubleshooting it and because it runs far too hot. I like how tiny it is and I would love if they made it as a USB C drive too so that I don't need a USB 3.1 to USB C adapter to use it with my tablet
