Used these on a roadtrip for supercharging and sleeping at truck stops. Not only do these give privacy, but they are a full blackout, so that light doesn't get through. This makes it much easier to sleep with streetlights and headlights from trucks and other cars, and makes a big difference while supercharging - I use the windshield and the front window shades and my 2021 Model Y turns into a relaxing cave safe from the bright Nevada sun. Also using the front window shades while leaving my car is a nice addition to the standard windshield shade. They do not stay in place when opening the doors, but it's pretty easy to put it on while closing the front door. Fits the windows well, but it is a bit tricky getting the back one in place. I didn't figure out what to do with the clips that came with it. Due to their substantial blackout construction they are tricky to fold up, but with practice and use of the straps and bag it comes with it isn't too bad to put away.

Just got these and immediately had to come and leave a review. This review is specifically for the Model Y and the 8 window cover kit. When purchasing I didn’t see any reviews from model Y owners so this is specifically in regard to the Y. These are amazing. They fit perfectly with complete coverage, snug, no need for the included clamps in my case, and they are very well made. You literally just place them on the window and tuck in the sides. I didn’t see any mention of what color(s) they’d have on each side so after receiving that was the first thing I looked for. One side is the typical “heat shield / window covering” type of silver. Looks very good. In my case I’m personally using that side on the inside, leaving the black on the other side the part that’s on the window showing outward. That way the black appears to add to my window tint which is already dark, but from the outside it just looks like tint and not something put in the window. I feel that draws more attention if the silver side were to be out. Overall happy I made the purchase!

I love these shades and they are great for privacy while Camping. All the window shades fit great. My only complaint is that the back window shade falls out (I believe the kit came with clips, so that could just be my fault) I wish the front windshield shade fit better, It’s pop-up style and sits very loose with gaps. But overall, I love the system and I would buy it again.

The shades work fine, but you might have to twist the side window covers so they don’t poke out weird. The back window was attached by clips so they do not fall out. Other than that, they fit perfectly into the windows. I have used these window shades in the middle of Texas summer and they seem to block out the daylight well. Very easy to fold and easy to place on the windows.

Does not fit at all. Do not buy!!!

The 8PC Tesla Model Y Window Privacy Sunshade offers excellent privacy and sun protection, but it falls short in several areas. The fit is poor, requiring adjustments to cover the windows properly. Additionally, stitch holes allow light to seep through, and the flimsy wireframes may not hold up well over time. Despite these issues, the sunshade is easy to install and remove, but its poor fit and flimsy construction make it a less than ideal option for Tesla Model Y owners.

Works great, blocks our people while at the charger. Could even get a little frisky if you were so inclinded. Good blockage

Got these for a Tesla camping roadtrip in my new Juniper model y. Had to put them up and take them down several times as we went to different campgrounds. They were super easy to put up and take down--and they really blacked out the windows--very little light gets in. They fit and cover all the windows well. The extra pouch to store them all fits well and is easy to store. The extra pouch for the front window screen is brilliant--since you can keep that separate and use that all the time (when you're not travelling). When you're camping and you want to get them all up quickly and easily--that's where these really shine. We kept the back screen on for our whole weeklong trip, and it stayed in place well. Only thing to keep in mind--if you're getting in and out through the side doors, you have to re-set up the window screen for that door when you get back inside because of how they use the car frame to hold in place.

Ok but really difficult to fold. I still do not understand the butterfly folding and I tried hard and a lot still not able to do so.
