Delighted with our rectangle firepit. Came packaged well. Easy directions and took two of us to put together in under 20 minutes and was fired up right away for several hours. Full large propane tank is hidden inside underneath. Sleek design and table big enough for drinks or feet to rest carefully. Comes with a middle flame cover converting it to a complete cocktail table I like that clean modern look, the flames have a low to high setting we used the lava rocks but I have bought glass to replace as I’m uncomfortable with the potential effects of moisture causing pops as warned in our paperwork. Plus I think it will look better. I think the quality is good, but not commercial in terms of outdoor weather long term durability. However the price is great for the pit. It’s easy to use and create a great atmosphere. Its heat level is perfect for temps 70-47 degrees is my best guess. It definitely doesn’t give off the level of heat as a round wood burning fir pit does, but…. It’s so convenient to turn a dial and it feels like an out door fire place. So I think it’s awesome. Bought a cover and will consider adding the glass surround for wind protection. We used two nights in a row and love it! Weather was in mid 60s w no wind.

I wanted a table fireplace for several years and saw this narrow one on sale so decided to purchase it. I have a small concrete patio that I wanted to have a rectangular fireplace instead of the square one. This fit the bill. I shipped quickly and well. I waited for the weekend to put it together, and it was fairly easy to put together by myself. It looks nice and hooked up the tank to it and fired it up. It looks and works great. The tank just fits inside the door and love the easy knob igniter. I didn’t run it long before it started to rain. I see myself reading a book by it or moving it to a larger area in my yard (two person job) when I have friends and family over.

This fire pit is exactly what we expected. Perfect size and easy set up. We aren’t using the lava rocks that came with it we instead ordered the cobalt blue tempered glass ones. We’ve only used it once around dark but can’t wait to see it sparkle with the flames. The heat from the flame is amazing. When it is not windy you can even turn the flame higher. We’ve only had this a week now but we are satisfied. We purchased the pit cover for rain which was recommended.

Got this for a steal when Amazon was promoting there spring deals! Easy set up and looks good. I didn’t use the lava rocks it came with but instead switched out for colored tempered glass. Very classy, cozy look.

Overall, I am very happy with the Ciays 42-Inch Gas Fire Pit Table. It is a great size for my patio area and is a very attractive-looking fire pit, especially considering the reasonable price. The product looks as pictured, and I found the details provided in the item description to be accurate. I assembled the fire pit in early June, and assembly was straightforward and easy to complete on my own. From start to finish, it took approximately 35–45 minutes. I did swap out the included lava rock for a beautiful fire glass that I purchased through Amazon. This was an easy upgrade that really enhanced the overall appearance of the fire pit. The fire glass looks absolutely beautiful when the fire is lit and adds a more decorative and upscale look to the patio. Once assembled, the fire pit feels solid and produces a decent amount of heat. I will primarily use it during the spring, summer. and fall months, so for me, it is more about creating a warm and inviting ambiance on the patio than providing significant heat. My only disappointment has been some premature wear to the painted finish on the top surface. There are several areas where the paint appears to be wearing thin, resulting in patches of uneven color. I do not use an additional cover over the entire table since the fire pit includes a hard lid to protect the actual burner area. I gave this fire pit four stars rather than five because I will need to repaint the top surface to address the visible wear following this fall season. Since the fire pit was only assembled in early June 2026, I would have preferred the original finish to hold up better, particularly on a product designed for outdoor use. However, given the price, appearance, ease of assembly, and overall performance, I am willing to repaint the surface so it continues to look nice for another year of use in spring, summer, fall 2027. Despite the finish issue, I am very pleased with the fire pit and feel it offers good value for the price. It has been a great addition to my patio, and with the addition of the fire glass, it looks especially beautiful when lit and creates exactly the atmosphere I was hoping for. PLEASE NOTE: I do not have a photo of the top of the pit, but I will definitely try to upload one asap.

Live this gas fire pit. It was so easy to put together. Instructions were great. I did it all by myself. Took about an hour and a half. I stayed nice and warm sitting by it. Puts out sime nice heat. I also got it earlier than expected.

I’ve had this for a couple years now. Has survived the Chicago weather out on my patio very well. Really kicks out the heat if you crank it up!

Very nice product. Just wish it had glass beads instead of lava rock. Easy to use and light.
