Can’t believe how heavy duty this scale is! Instead of spending far more for a scale to weigh our cats, this does the trick exceptionally well. I weigh them regularly as a way to keep an eye on their health. It has every feature I wanted and the weighing range is amazing. Seems to be accurate down to a few grams. With the corded readout, it is easy to put a box on top to get the cats in, tare, and weight away!

Let's get the disclaimer out of the way first. I've only owned this scale a short while now so I can't comment on key issues such as long-term durability and accuracy or battery life. My experience so far is that this is a decent scale. Plenty accurate enough for my postal needs with a large enough max weight that I don't feel like I'm pushing the scale to its limit. Super easy to use and read display. Love that it can be mounted separately at a viewing angle that suits my needs. I would not recommend placing anything directly on the top of the scale platform. It's a relatively thin and slippery surface. Instead, I added a thin layer of self-adhesive neoprene rubber to the surface. Now things stay put, and there's a bit of cushion on top of the metal. If the scale is still functional and accurate in a couple years, I'll be a very happy camper.

Okay, so this is bigger than I thought it was going to be. That is on me. I needed a larger bed, which this delivers on, but I didn't need something so hefty. Again, totally on me, but it is still portable as I have to take it to different work stations from time to time. That being said, I love the thing. Durable, easy to read and change units of weight. What is not to like? If I could leave it in one place, it would be perfect. Like the title says, it is overqualified for what I need, but still a great product.

I bought this in 2022, is 2025 and i still have it. The number panel is stainless steel but the scale itself doesn't. It starts to recognize the weight on 0.06 Oz

I didn’t open this for quite awhile after buying it, so can’t return. I was pretty annoyed to find out when I did open it that the screen has scuffs and swirl marks all over it. They’re not very visible when it’s lit up in actual use, so I’ll live, but it does give the impression they’re sending out used product. The aluminum housing of the screen unit was also quite scratched, and it was all wrapped in plastic so shouldn’t have been. The scale is nice and works well. But if the manufacturer is sending out refurbished returns they need to disclose this and discount. I can’t in good conscience give five stars for product received in this condition.

This is now the third scale I have attempted to buy on Amazon. The first was ok, but the buttons were on the side which was a real hassle. I then opted to get something a little more heavy duty and tried another scale that is very similar looking to this one, but it would not weigh items under 6 ounces at all. It just sat there at 0. Then came this Acctek scale and it has been terrific so far. For starters it is way easier to set up than all the others, it is extremely heavy and solid, and I love the added screen on a cord so I can see it at my height no matter where the scale is placed. It has no trouble reading smaller items and large ones with accuracy. Love the power cord option and that all the buttons are at easy reach due to the small panel that can be placed at a distance. Also, the reading is illuminated, so its easier to see. So far, so good. Will update if anything changes.

I like the sturdy stainless steel platform and its generous size. The display is simple and easy to operate and also easy to move around where you want it to be since it is connected to the scale via cable. I bought it to weight parcels to be shipped, but I also use it as a scale to weigh myself since it’s accuracy is superior to bathroom scales. When I step on the scale, the platform moves up and down on the left or on the right side according to where I lean on, but after a few seconds, when I have reached my balance the scales records my weight accurately.

This scale is not plastic, and it is really nice and should last years. The scale can be operated without being plugged in, and shuts itself off in a few moments, so the battery lasts a long time. (Can also be used with an included plug.) What I like the most is how large the platform is, so it can easily weight large boxes without them tipping. The readout has a long enough, spiral cord that it can be placed away from the scale, probably about 3 feet long. And the cable is nicely coated in heavy vinyl, like an old-time wall telephone cord, so it doesn't crimp or get tangled. This scale is a winner, worth an extra few bucks over the last one I had, that cost almost as much but was less than half the size.

Easy to use, large enough for boxes and accurate readings. Good value!
