i ordered this one specifically because it has holes all throughout it and incase my 10yr old daughter accidentally swallowed it in her sleep, i felt this would at least keep her from choking in her sleep. She has been using it for about a week now and it has helped a lot. she had been grinding her teeth together so hard it almost sounded like one of those wooden twisting bird calls. The directions were kind of annoying because they want you to go to there website to find the videos to mold the mouthguard to your teeth. but i feel this could have been simply explained on a 2 sided sheet of paper. You "Heat water to around 160F, put it in with your teeth on the lines, fold the back side first, then the front, then the corners that form, close your mouth and suck hard using your tongue to push the back to your teeth." Done. instructions really aren't hard enough to need 3-4 videos clearing everything up. But leave the videos for people that are like "why isn't this working?! i have more questions! (please see videos for better explanations.)"

This product is not meant for little kids it is too difficult for them to form in their mouths, kids hated the process and got frustrated with trying to repeat the process so the guards did not hurt. Better for older kids and teens.

So disappointed in this one. We followed the directions the video and it still wouldn’t mold correctly to my sons teeth. It hardened too quickly and would cut his gums while trying to get it fitted in his mouth. It says for youth (my son is 14) but it was definitely too bulky for his mouth. We had to throw it away.

Love them. I recommend these to all players in our association. I like the processing for fitting them, which is easy enough for players under 10years old.
